We had a fantastic time at the Larkmead School ‘Make a Difference’ Celebration last week, where Sixth Form students shared inspiring presentations about the voluntary work they carried out in July.

It was wonderful to hear about the many different ways students made a positive difference in their communities, including the fantastic students who volunteered with us on our TrinityLearning Toolkit for Happiness project.

Our September training sessions continue! This Wednesday (23rd September) is our Thinking Books training for our in-school volunteers.

Thinking Books sees trained volunteers mentor young children through shared reading and discussion of books. Books are carefully chosen and offer opportunities to help children to develop empathy by reflecting on their own and other people’s feelings.

Led by trainer Lisa, Wednesday's session will focus on 'emotional reading'. If you are a volunteer and haven't yet booked a place please contact [email protected] to do so and if you are coming please do bring your DBS certificate with you and we look forward to seeing you there!
