🐣 We hope that everyone has a lovely Easter break! We return back to preschool on Monday 15th April 🐥

A little activity to use and help strengthen those fine motor skills 🍊🧡

All hands on deck this morning caring for our babies! Safe to say their bellies were full, they were all nice and clean, they were dressed warm and put down for a nap 😴

Lots of delicious dinners were made this afternoon in our Ladybirds mud kitchen area 🍽️

Happy Mothers Day to all our preschoolers Mummy’s 🌸

What a great fun filled day we’ve had today! A big thank you to the birthday boy and his parents for sharing his birthday celebrations with us!

Pass the parcel, balloons, cakes and sweets! As well as some musical games.

🧗‍♀️ What a great interaction I had during this in the moment, child-led activity. Not only were the children managing their own risks but the conversations and ideas the group had were amazing. One child suggested that they put their foot in the slot, another tried to used their own strength to pull themself up. Another child was wondering how they did it after a few struggles to climb up. The other children very kindly shown us again how they did it, but to help make it a bit easier for the 3rd child everyone came to the idea to get a crate to lift him higher!

They had such encouragement between each other as well.

( After all this one of them realised there was a tunnel the otherside which made it effortless for them all 🤣 )

🍏 Apple printing with Lucy this afternoon. This started by the children listening to her instructions and then using their fine motor skills to grip the sticks to print. The children also talked about the colours they used and what colour it made when they were mixed up! 🍎

The children had great fun this morning exploring the ice tray with Sonia. Using tools to break the ice and free the insects as well as talking about ice 🧊
