🎓 It's the UN International Day of Education today.

This year's day is all about the power of youth in co-creating education - shaping the systems we need for the future.

Right now, our education systems prioritise easily tested skills like rote memorisation and recall, spelling grammar and punctuation, but these are the skills most likely to be taken over by AI.

The skills needed now - and in the future - have evolved - but our education systems have NOT.

Yet, standardised tests overlook these strengths.

Supporting teachers and workplaces to recognise Dyslexic Thinking skills, and measure and treasure them, will empower everyone for success and drive innovation in a changing world.

The Government has announced a national engagement campaign to put parents and families at the heart of reforming the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) system. With in-person and online events happening across the country, this is your chance to share experiences and shape lasting change for children with SEND.

Petition: Commission independent inquiry into delays in SEND education provision Many children with SEND are being failed. Some families can wait months or even years for support, leaving children without the education they are legally entitled to and causing long-term harm.

While academic support is critical, the emotional wellbeing of children with dyslexia is just as important - and often overlooked! Every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and confident in themselves.
