Great to be away. 💞
Great to be back.

Routine went out of the window. Entirely.

I rested, I drank wine and ate way too much sugar. Some moments took my breath away…. Sunsets, street musicians, elder men who keep Czech traditions alive. My eyes welled up because it felt so good to be ‘home’. Mum baked, the garden had so much produce (if only I could take some back), I saw my family and some dear friends. Grateful…truly. Nothing is taken for granted.

Every yin comes with the yang. Rest needs to come with being active. Eating and drinking too much needs to be followed by cleansing the system. I am looking forward to it.

I am looking forward to seeing you in classes again.

How has your summer been?

✨Really easy home made electrolytes✨

1/2 pineapple 🍍
Handful of frozen blueberries 🫐
Frozen raspberries
Juice of one lemon 🍋
1/2 teaspoon of Celtic salt 🧂

Blitz it, freeze it, store it. Pop a cube in your drink when you do your work out.

Electrolytes are important….particularly in hot temperatures.

My skin cancer story… ✨🙏

It’s not something I talk about or share but seeing today’s article on BBC website has reminded me of that time of my life.

With deepest gratitude I am sharing it with you. 🩵

What I thought was a spot or a mole has turned out to be skin cancer.

Signs:
✨ changes in texture (dry crusty spot, blister like appearance,…. It was changing. Often)
✨ getting larger
✨ it started to bleed when I wiped my face hard.

If something doesn’t feel right it is because it isn’t.

Go to your doctor! No point keeping that worry inside.

Needless to say I now attend annual privately funded skin checks…. Because it is worth my peace of mind. 🧠🩵✨

Find a dermatologist and have your skin checked. Every mole, spot, birth mark…. They look at everything.

Stay safe in the sun ☀️and AVOID sun beds like your life depends on it. Because it does.
