Week 4 of the Holidays, only 4 more days and im off for a week! This week consisted of:
• Nant y A***n
• Garden play
• The beach for snacks
• Botanical Gardens
• The Allotments where we found not 1 by 2 empty nests

Week 3 of the Holidays was a short one for us!
But we managed to fit in so much in just 3 days!
• Llanechaeron where we enjoyed the summer of fun
•dressing up as pirates after our adventures
•The play room in the national library on a rainy Tuesday
•A trip to the pet shop
• craft
• RAY play dat in Aberaeron
And we even found lady bird larvae

Let's talk about it again.... MIXED age groups how incredible are mixed age groups these guys are 7 months and 2.5 years and the learning going on for both is incredible. The only negative is baby W thinks she is a toddler and is trying to stand up and go play with everyone 😂

Colour hunt this morning 🌈
The children have been talking about colours lots lately in both English and Welsh so we took out our colour hunt resources and enjoyed a nice walk by the river!

Childminding week 2026

What is Childminding?

Childminding isnt just a job, income or even a career its a way of life a feeling of happiness, love and family. I have been a childminder for 13 years and its shaped me as a person and my whole family. The relationships built last a life time not just with the children but with their whole family, the parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and so much more. I will be forever thankful for those that have chosen me and continue to choose me to share you wonderful children.

Bug Hunt 🐜🐝🐞

Little one grabbed the bag of bugs this morning and asked 'what can we do?' So I quickly grabbed some bits I had to hand and now they are catching bugs, naming bugs, counting bugs, using their pincer grip, talking about bigger and smaller plus so much more. Totally child led so they are totally engaged and I also have a pot of playdough ready to extend play when we want to.
