A big thank you to everyone who joined us at our open day on Saturday!

It was lovely meeting so many prospective students and their families, answering your questions, and sharing a little more about what life at Aberystwyth Business School has to offer.

A huge thank you also goes to our fantastic staff and our amazing team of student ambassadors, whose enthusiasm, support and hard work helped make the day such a success. We couldn’t do it without you! 👏

We hope everyone enjoyed their visit and left feeling excited about the opportunities ahead. We’d love to welcome you to Aberystwyth in the future.

Diolch mawr i bawb a ymunodd â ni ar ein diwrnod agored ddydd Sadwrn! Roedd hi’n braf cwrdd â llawer o fyfyrwyr posibl a’u teuluoedd, ateb eich cwestiynau, a rhannu ychydig mwy am yr hyn sydd gan Ysgol Fusnes Aberystwyth i’w gynnig.

Diolch enfawr hefyd i’n staff gwych a’n tîm anhygoel o eiriolwyr myfyrwyr, y bu eu brwdfrydedd, cymorth a gwaith caled yn helpu gwneud y diwrnod mor llwyddiannus. Ni allem wneud hynny hebych! 👏

Gobeithiwn fod pawb wedi mwynhau eu hymweliad a gadael yn teimlo’n gyffrous am y cyfleon sydd i ddod. Byddem wrth ein bodd yn eich croesawu i Aberystwyth yn y dyfodol.

A little thank you that means a lot to us at Aberystwyth Business School 💙

We received this lovely card from one of our students, and it really did make us smile!

University life can be challenging, and supporting our students through their academic journey is something we care deeply about. So when a student takes the time to say thank you, it genuinely means a great deal to the whole team.

We’re incredibly grateful for the kind words, and especially for the recognition of the support, guidance and encouragement that our colleagues provide every day.

Thank you — it’s very much appreciated!

Diolch bach sy’n golygu cymaint i ni yn Ysgol Fusnes Aberystwyth

Rydym wedi derbyn y cerdyn hyfryd hwn gan un o’n myfyrwyr, ac fe wnaeth wirioneddol ein gwneud ni’n gwenu!Gall bywyd prifysgol fod yn heriol, ac mae cymorth ein myfyrwyr trwy’u taith academaidd yn rhywbeth rydym yn gofalu’n fawr amdano.

Felly pan mae myfyriwr yn cymryd ychydig o amser i ddiolch, mae’n wirioneddol yn golygu llawer i’r tîm cyfan.Rydym yn ddiolchgar iawn am y geiriau caredig, ac yn enwedig am gydnabod y gefnogaeth, cyngor a hybu y mae ein cydweithwyr yn ei ddarparu bob dydd.

Diolch — rydym yn gwerthfawrogi hynny’n fawr!

What could you create for Aberystwyth Arts Centre that people would genuinely want to use? Canolfan y Celfyddydau Aberystwyth Arts Centre

That’s the challenge facing our second-year Marketing students this semester.

Working in teams, students are developing a new offering for Aberystwyth Arts Centre, beginning with a visit to the venue to understand the space, the audiences and the experience from the customer’s perspective.

From there, they’ll research the market, identify an opportunity, develop their proposition and create a marketing plan to bring their idea to life.

And this isn’t just an assignment that disappears into a marking folder.

Later this semester, the teams will present their ideas directly to the Aberystwyth Arts Centre management team.

They’ll have to convince a real organisation that their idea is worth pursuing.

Real client. Real brief. Real marketing challenge.

Beth allwch chi ei greu ar gyfer Canolfan Gelfyddydau Aberystwyth y byddai pobl yn wirioneddol eisiau ei ddefnyddio?

Dyna'r her sy'n wynebu ein myfyrwyr Marchnata blwyddyn eilaidd y tymor hwn.

Gan weithio mewn timau, mae myfyrwyr yn datblygu cynnig newydd ar gyfer Canolfan Gelfyddydau Aberystwyth, gan ddechrau gyda ymweliad â'r lleoliad i ddeall y gofod, y cynulleidfaoedd a'r profiad o safbwynt y cwsmer.

O'r fan honno, byddan nhw'n ymchwilio'r farchnad, yn nodi cyfleoedd, yn datblygu eu cynnig ac yn creu cynllun marchnata i ddod â'u syniad yn fyw.

Ac nid dim ond aseiniad sy'n diflannu i mewn i ffolder marcio ydy hwn.

Yn ddiweddarach y tymor hwn, bydd y timau'n cyflwyno eu syniadau yn uniongyrchol i dîm rheoli Canolfan Gelfyddydau Aberystwyth.

Bydd yn rhaid iddyn nhw argyhoeddi sefydliad go iawn bod eu syniad yn werth ei ddilyn.

Cwsmer go iawn. Rhaglen go iawn. Her farchnata go iawn.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome students from Ysgol Penweddig to Aberystwyth Business School!
