Audition materials for our production of Footloose were made available to all students before the end of the summer term. Any student wishing to audition for this production should carefully read the pack and follow the instructions.

✨OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG ACTORS✨

YOUTH THEATRE+ CALLOUT: ROLL FOR REMISSION

Cwmni Ennyn are seeking four young performers aged 15-19 to play the lead roles in a professionally produced co-production with Aberystwyth Arts Centre from September to November 2026! Roll for Remission is a play about four young people with cancer who escape into a fantasy world via a game of "Dungeons and Dragons". The show changes at each performance as the audience rolls dice to decide what happens in both worlds.

Auditions are taking place in Aberystwyth Arts Centre on MONDAY 27 JULY from 5-8pm in DANCE STUDIOS 3 & 4. You will be asked to read one or two group scenes with other performers, before performing a short monologue for an audition panel. There will also be an improvisation game to see how you respond to a live and changing story.

Some FAQs regarding auditions:

Do I need to learn the monologue(s) for the audition?
No, script in hand is fine, but make sure you have a practice before coming in so you're at your best on the day.

Can Year 10s audition if they're under 15 at the time of the performance?
Yes, if feel comfortable with the play's subject matter you're welcome to try out.

Are there backstage roles?
Yes! If you're interested in helping out backstage, please send Anna an email ([email protected]).

What if I'm away on the audition day but still want to take part?
Send Anna an email as soon as you can and she'll arrange for you to send a self tape audition ([email protected]).

On Friday night our Year 12 Drama class took on the incredible challenge of creating Agatha Christie’s The Stranger in just 24 hours. And what a performance they delivered! Their commitment, creativity and sheer bravery made the project something truly special.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in the audience. Your support, energy and enthusiasm gave our young company the lift they needed after an intense 24 hours of rehearsing, staging and refining.
