Week 1/ Wythnos 1 - Holiday Play-Scheme/ Clwb gwyliau
Penglais Bake off & Candle making, Pottery painting trip to Corris Craft Centre.

What a fantastic start to our Holiday Play-scheme! The theme this week was 'All about me', the children have made booklets about themselves, talking about their favourite things, food, pets & their religious traditions, getting to know each another.
We have had trips out & about in Aberystwyth, having a treasure hunt in Aberystwyth Castle, Visiting the town's museum, a show & tell morning, a trip to Corris Craft centre to make candles or paint pottery and finishing off today with a Penglais Nursery bake of!! What a great week!
Next week is sports week, so please remember to bring lots of energy!
Am ddechrau gwych i'n Chwarae-gynllun Gwyliau! Thema yr wythnos hon oedd 'Popeth am fi',mae'r plant wedi gwneud llyfrynnau amdanynt eu hunain,siarad am eu hoff bethau, bwyd, anifeiliaid anwes a eu traddodiadau crefyddol, yn ddod i adnabod pob un arall.
Rydym wedi cael tripiau allan a ynghylch Aberystwyth, cael helfa drysor yng Nghastell Aberystwyth, ymweld amgueddfa'r dref, bore ddangos & dywedwch, taith i ganolfan Creft Corris i wneud canhwyllau neu baentiwch grochenwaith ac yn gorffen heddiw gyda pobi Meithrinfa Penglais !! Am wythnos wych!
Yr wythnos nesaf yw wythnos chwaraeon, felly cofiwch ddod a llawer o egni!

Fantastic, friendly, accommodating staff, my son has attended this nursery since he was 7 mths old and staff have always attended to his needs. They are polite, friendly and informative. They explain his day to me every day. I feel he is very safe and happy in this environment. Great nursery, I will always recommend to others.
