This is probably one of the questions we get asked the most!

So, we thought we’d make it nice and easy…

We cover Abertillery, Blaina, Aberbeeg, Trinant, Crumlin, Oakdale and the surrounding areas 💛 we service Tillery Street Campus, Bro Heleg, Rhiw Syr Daffydd, Trinant Primary and Roseheyworth Nursery. We offer breakfast club, nursery collections, drop offs, full time and wrap around care - we even do summer club!! We are a registered flying start setting, we offer the childcare offer, we are a voucher friendly setting including the tax free childcare service and if that wasn’t enough..

We are also a gold standard setting, we are part of the HEYS scheme and we are a design to smile trained team.

Whether you’re just around the corner or a little further afield, it’s always worth asking! You might be surprised how far we reach!!!

I am absolutely delighted to introduce you to Georgia, who will be joining our family at the beginning of October 💚

Georgia has been working with children for 7 years and absolutely loves making little people laugh, learn and shine!

She’s full of energy, creativity and fun, and loves creating a happy place where everyone can be themselves, have a go and try something new 🤩

When she’s not at work, you’ll find Georgia singing, dancing or teaching theatre 🎭

Fun, laughter and a little bit of sparkle are always on Georgia’s agenda!

🌱 WE’RE GROWING — AND WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL! 🌱

Our newly established day care setting is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join our family on a part-time basis.

🕢 Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–11:30am, national minimum wage
📚 Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification essential
🌱 Career progression and opportunities to grow with us

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants a job in childcare. We’re looking for someone with ambition, passion and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children.

Someone who understands that working with children can be incredibly rewarding… but also knows that some days involve being a superhero, storyteller, negotiator, detective, entertainer, snack distributor and professional finder of lost comforters — sometimes all before 9am! 😂

And yes… there may be paint in your hair, mud on your trousers and unidentified substances on your sleeve. We don’t always ask questions. 😂

✔️ Level 3 qualified in Childcare/Early Years
✔️ Experienced in an early years setting
✔️ Current DBS
✔️ Paediatric First Aid trained
✔️ Basic Welsh
✔️ Full clean driving licence
✔️ Passionate about working with children of all abilities
✔️ Experience or confidence supporting children with challenging or additional needs
✔️ Patient, nurturing, compassionate and resilient
✔️ Someone who treats every child with dignity, kindness and respect
✔️ A genuine team player
✔️ Ambitious and willing to learn, develop and grow
✔️ Not afraid to get wet, muddy or messy! 🌧️🌱

We have a particular passion for supporting children who may present with challenging or complex needs.

We believe children should never be defined by their behaviours or difficulties. Every child deserves to be seen, heard, valued and respected — and above all, to feel safe, loved and like part of the family.

When flowers bloom, they eventually leave behind seeds and today we said goodbye to another one of our team who is to spreading her wings to Bali 🏝️

And from those seeds, something new begins to grow.

Sometimes people leave, and although their absence is felt, they leave behind something beautiful — memories, lessons, growth and a space ready for something new.

It’s not about replacing what was.
It’s about planting new seeds, nurturing new beginnings and seeing what beautiful things can grow from them.

Every ending carries the possibility of a new beginning….. watch this space because we are looking for seedlings 🌱

A huge thank you to everyone in the community that joined us this week to fill our lovely planters. The outside of the nursery is really starting to look lovely!!

One of the hardest parts of building a team is knowing that sometimes the people you grow to love will outgrow the place where they started—and that’s exactly as it should be. Recently, we’ve said goodbye to two amazing members of our team. Of course, there have been tears, hugs and a huge sense of loss because they have each left their own mark on our nursery. But beneath that sadness is an overwhelming feeling of pride.

I’ve always believed that my role isn’t to keep people with me forever; it’s to help them become the very best version of themselves, even if that means their journey takes them somewhere new. It’s no different to the promise we make to every child who walks through our doors. We nurture them, encourage them, build their confidence and give them the wings to fly. We celebrate when they move on to school, knowing we’ve played a small part in preparing them for their next adventure. Why should it be any different for the adults who become part of our family?

Watching people grow, gain confidence and have the courage to follow their dreams is one of the greatest privileges of what I do. So whilst their absence will be felt every single day, my heart is full knowing they’re chasing opportunities that are right for them. They’ll always have a place in the Bobl Bach Clare family, and I’ll always be cheering them on from afar. Because real success isn’t measured by how many people stay—it’s measured by how many people leave believing in themselves a little more than when they arrived 💚

I am so excited to introduce Brooke who’ll be joining the Bobl Bach Clare family in September to begin her Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship. 💚

At just 16, Brooke is already bringing a lovely depth of experience and knowledge of childcare with her. Having grown up spending lots of time around children, she’s discovered a real passion for caring for and supporting children during those all-important early years — and we’re delighted that she’s chosen to begin her childcare journey with us.

We also want to give Brooke a huge congratulations for absolutely smashing her GCSEs! 🎉👏 What an achievement, and what a fantastic way to head into this exciting next chapter.

September will be the start of a whole new adventure for you Brooke, and we’re looking forward to watching you learn, develop your skills and grow in confidence as you work towards your qualification.

Well done, Brooke, and welcome to the Bobl Bach Clare family! We’re delighted to have you joining our team 💚
