What a fantastic ‘Father’s Day’ activity we had this morning.
Thank you to all the dads and granddads who came along to our Father’s Day event at the Glebe garden.
All the children planted a baby spider plant and will take them home for a Father’s Day gift. 🪴
Then the children took a walk around the garden and showed their dads/grandads the potatoes that they planted earlier in the year. They have grown so much.
We finished off our outing by having lots of fun at the new park. 😊

We had a wonderful visit to the care home this morning.
Firstly the children used brushes and painted with water to create some beautiful pictures.
We celebrated the World Cup by playing ‘Beat the Goalie.’ ⚽️
Inside the care home the children met Lily the therapy dog. 🐶
We finished off our visit by listening and dancing to Moya playing the violin .🎻
Walking back to nursery the children saw some beautiful flowers in gardens 🌷.
Lots of fun had by all 😊.

Today the children had a demonstration on ‘flower arranging’
Some children independently cut flowers, poured water from a jug into a vase, then looked for a place to showcase their flower arrangement 💐
It was lovely to see how proud the children were with their work 🙂

We’ve had a wonderful morning enjoying the weather. ☀️
The children walked along the riverside looking for ducks. 🦆
We stopped and had a picnic overlooking the Spey.

This term the children going to P1 in August have been engaging in lots of transition visits.
They’ve had visits to the playground and met their buddies who support them.
We’ve introduced a story called….
‘The Everywhere Bear’
We had P1 teachers into the nursery where they took part in an ‘Everywhere Bear’ literacy activity.
This term the children will continue to take part in future visits to P1 😊

This afternoon we had the pleasure of welcoming one of our parents into nursery to talk about their home country Ghana 🇬🇭


The children were excited to see how much our ducklings have grown over the weekend.
We put the ducklings into some water and the children observed them use their webbed feet to swim 🐥
