St Robert's Catholic Primary School

On Tuesday, Dosbarth Seren led a beautiful Crowning of the May Queen worship. We reflected on Mary’s role in Jesus’ life and her role in our lives too. We led the whole school up to our Marian Grotto to crown Our Lady’s statue!

A huge congratulations to those pupils who competed in this years Apollo Football tournament! You were all fantastic competitors! You braved the rain, played your hearts out and all did our school tremendously proud. Also a huge thank you to Coach Andrew for giving up his time to coach the team and support them during the tournament. Da iawn pawb, we are so proud of you all! 👏 ⚽️

Dosbarth Enfys had an AMAZING time on our animal explorer day! We loved dressing up and seeing all of the awesome reptiles from Bridgend Reptile Centre with Chris. We saw corn snakes, a python, a stick insect, a degu and loads more! A brilliant day pawb, da iawn!🐍

Dosbarth Seren had a wonderful time on their school trip last week to Caerleon Roman Fortress and Baths! We got to visit the remains of the amphitheatre, barracks and baths and had the chance to see some Roman artefacts found near the site. We had great fun trying on the Roman armour and taking part in the Roman Army workshop where we got march like Roman soldiers and we passed the test to enrol into the ‘Roman Army’!

Not all superheroes wear capes… some wear school uniforms.

We’re inspired by young people coming together to do something positive and make a difference.

Thanks to St. Robert’s Catholic Primary School, Bridgend, for raising £136.24 for The Wallich.

And to Porthcawl Comprehensive students, who raised £337 for our Bridgend young people's homelessness projects.

Dosbarth Afon have been very creative and created some wonderful artwork based on the power of the Holy Spirit!

In Dosbarth Seren, we have been making the most of the lovely weather, and enjoyed making our Roman mosaics out of natural resources!
