The Cylch is available to take up to 19 children between the times of 9.00am – 3.00pm. We welcome all children from two to four years old. The admittance policy is available at the Cylch. Child/Adult ratio will need to be 1 adult to 4 children 2 to 3yrs old and 1 adult to 8 children aged 3yrs plus. Children attending Cylch Meithrin and Meithrin Mwy will be a priority over Cylch Meithrin Iau under the admission policy.

What are the objectives of the Cylch?
We provide and develop childcare of the highest quality through the medium of Welsh following the policies of Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin. We provide a safe and happy educational environment for your child based on the different learning areas. We develop and provide a service that reflects the language and culture of the Cylch and the local community.

We comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), that came into effect on 25th May 2018. To help comply with GDPR consent requirements with regard to our information and marketing emails, texts, watts app and Facebook, we need to confirm that you would like to receive content from us. A form must be completed in your child’s registration pack.
Cofrestru
Mae’r Cylch wedi ei gofrestru gyda’r Arolygiaeth Gofal Cymru (AGC). Gofynnir i bob rhiant gwblhau ffurflen gofrestru cyn i’w plentyn fynychu’r Cylch. Mae’n rhaid i’r Cylch gael gwybodaeth amdanoch chi a’ch plentyn fel ein bod yn gallu cysylltu â chi mewn argyfwng, ac er mwyn cael manylion am hanes meddygol eich plentyn. A wnewch chi roi gwybod i ni yn syth os oes unrhyw newidiadau i’r manylion cysylltu ar y ffurflen gofrestru, e.e. newid cyfeiriad, rhif ffôn, gwaith neu gartref. Hefyd, gofynnir i chi nodi pwy fydd yn gyfrifol am gasglu eich plentyn o’r Cylch, os am unrhyw rheswm nid ydech yn medru pigo eich plentyn i fyny a does neb yn gyfrirol i gasglu eich plentyn byddwn yn rhoi cywair i’r person casglu. Mae’r polisi Iechyd a Diogelwch, sydd ar gael yn y Cylch, yn cynnwys rhagor o fanylion am y drefniadau gadael a chasglu plant.
Registration
The Cylch Meithrin is registered with the Care Inspectorate of Wales. We request parents to complete a registration form before their child attends the Cylch. The Cylch needs this information about you and your child so that we are able to contact you in case of an emergency, and in order to have your child’s medical details. Please could you let us know immediately if there are any changes to your details. For example change of address, change of telephone numbers for home or work. We also request that you provide details of authorised persons who can collect your child from the Cylch if you decide at short notice that someone who is not authorised to collect your child we will give you a password for collection. Our Health and Safety Policy, available at the Cylch, contains further details for collection arrangements. Should you decide to register your child please contact the leader.
Dechrau’n Deg
Os ydych yn byw mewn ardal Dechrau’n Deg, efallai y bydd modd i’ch plentyn dderbyn gofal plant 12.5 awr am ddim. Gall eich plentyn cael lle o’r tymor ar ôl ei ail ben blwydd, i’r tymor y maent yn dathlu eu trydydd pen blwydd, neu tan y byddant yn dechrau mewn dosbarth Meithrin mewn ysgol.
Mae gofal plant ar gael am 2.5 awr y dydd am 5 diwrnod yn Cylch Abergele. Bydd eich plentyn yn profi amgylchedd o dan do ac yn yr awyr agored o ansawdd uchel, sy’n eu helpu i ymgyfarwyddo a gwneud ffrindiau newydd. Mae copi o’r cod post ar gael ym mhrif fynedfa y Cylch.
Flying Start
If you live in a Flying Start area, it may be possible for your child to receive 12.5 hours of free childcare, the staff are highly qualified, trained, and have Disclosure and Barring Service. They would receive a place from the term after your child’s second birthday, the term they celebrate their third birthday or until they start nursery education. Childcare is available for 2.5 hours per day for 5 days in Cylch Abergele. Your child will be in a high quality environment indoor and outdoor, which will help your child settle and make new friends. A copy of the post codes is placed on the wall in the main entrance of the Cylch.
Cynnig Gofal Plant Cymru
Os ydech yn gweithio 16 awr neu fwy yr wythnos a mae eich plentyn yn 3 neu 4 oed efallai bydd Llywodraeth Cymru yn gallu talu hyd at 30 awr o ofal plant yr wythnos. Ar gael i blant yn y tymor yn dilyn eu trydydd pen-blwydd, e.e. Plentyn wedi ei geni Medi 1af – Rhagfyr 31ain, 30 awr o ofal plant yr wythnos yn cychwyn Ionawr, plentyn wedi ei geni Ionawr 1af – Mawrth 31ain, 30 awr o ofal plant yr wythnos yn cychwyn Ebrill 1af. The Childcare Offer for Wales
If you work 16 hours or more per week and you have a child that is 3 or 4 he/she may be eligible for up to 30 hours of childcare per week. This is available to children in the term following their third birthday and both parents are working 16 hours (or single parents). If your child is 3 between September 1st – March 31st your child’s free childcare would start in the January, if your child’s birthday is between January 1stto March 31st, your child’s free childcare would start April 1st. This is available the term after your child turn 3 year olds in an ‘approved registered pre-school setting. The settings have been approved by Conwy Early Years Development and Childcare.
