Today’s star of the week is Elayah! She has settled into big room very well and has been a very good girl. Well done Rachel is proud!

Some of the jungle displays Butterflies have done this month. We have worked very hard this month.

This month in Butterflies the theme is Jungle. We have been doing a lot of craft activities to do with jungle animals. Today’s activity was outside exploring the garden, with Binoculars that we made. We were looking for different animals, and communicating with our friends, about what we could see. Exploring the garden is such a lovely thing to do, looking at things we might not usually see.

Using our fine motor skills to make jigsaws, looking at all the pieces and fitting them all together to make a picture. Having a sense of achievement that the jigsaw is complete. And knowing that you have done it all by yourself. Looking at the pictures and communicating with others what the picture is.

Building a tower with magnets. Using fine motor skills to place each magnet on top of one another. Having the confidence to build it higher, and inviting our friends to join in. Communicating with one another and building relationships with each other.
