Auntie Hannah's House - Childminding Service

What a busy week we have had! Including a lovely day at the zoo watching the sea lion feeding, tower building with the mega blocks, music making, table top games to encourage fine motor skills, magnetic tiles and mirrors, getting creative mark making with the chalk boards and a morning at softplay.

☀️ MAY 1/2 Term☀️How lucky were we with the lovely weather?!?! Highlights included watching the Punch & Judy Show, building the longest stone snake ever! Visiting the Laburnum Arch, having a sit in a Kubota!! Crabbing and catching 12 crabs 🦀, bathing Toby tortoise 🐢, chalking art, and seeing the new cygnets at the park 🦢

This week we have celebrated World Bee Day, been to see the beautiful Laburnum Arch at Bodnant Garden NT/YG Gardd Bodnant, created our own dinosaur kingdom using recyclable items and had lots of fun with Mr Potato head !

Today has been a ‘table top activities’ type of day which wasn’t planned but that’s how the day panned out with the children choosing their own activities throughout the day - lots of opportunity for turn taking, practicing our numbers and counting and colour recognition

This week has been Donkey Week - so we couldn’t let the week pass without a visit to our favourite Donkeys Bobby & William!! They were happy to see us and very excited to see we had brought carrots for them 🫏 🥕 Kara Maloney🫶🏻

Did you know … One of Sir David Attenborough’s favourite animals is the ‘Weedy Sea Dragon’ ?? So to continue our animal themed week to celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 100th Birthday we created our own Weedy Sea Dragon pictures - how cute are these?!?

🐢 Carrying on our animal themed week to celebrate Sir David Attenboroughs 100th Birthday … we had lots of fun bathing and polishing Toby tortoises shell and learning all about what sort of foods he likes to eat 🐢
