For those of you who have followed us for a while you may have noticed our page has been very quiet; that doesn't mean to say we haven't been very busy!

Jackie's pet lamb Buzz and his mate Chase have become firm favourites with visitors to the yard🐑

Puzzle, who you may remember from the lockdown naming competition, is now 4 years old and starting his ridden career🐴

The Dewicwrt showjumping team have been out and about competing most weekends with some great results🏆

Summer holidays are now in full swing; the school ponies are enjoying lots of cuddles🌞

It was another successful weekend for Team Dewicwrt at the Cricklands Championship🏅with lots of wins and everyone placed in nearly all of their classes over the three days. The team showjumping was one of the highlights😊 a huge thank you to Sam and Steve from The Bear Hotel for sponsoring our team outfits.

What a day was had today by Team Dewicwrt - It's fair to say the girls smashed it💪 between the three of them Grace, Anna and Izzy claimed the top four spots in the 60, top three in the 70 and top two placings in the 80🏆 our chef d'equipe (Jackie) must be doing something right😉

Christmas came early with a new sign at Dewicwrt thanks to Nigel and his elves at N R Brown Farriers. The ponies were treated with early Christmas presents which kept them busy🐴.

The last few days of lessons before the new year have been undertaken in true Dewicwrt style...

which brought out the competitive side in both people and ponies alike with plenty of thrills and spills along the way! As you can see from the photo, the excitement was all too much for Jackie🙈.

We would like to wish each and every one of our Dewicwrt riders a very merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in the new year😊.

All things being well lessons will recommence Saturday 8th January.

Gerty welcomed a pretty little filly into the world on Wednesday who finally managed to make it out today without her armbands - as you can see she couldn’t stop smiling 😆

Have you heard the news? Our holiday is about to come to an end 🙈

Put the date in the diary as that is when we can welcome you all back to Dewicwrt... what better way to start the Easter Holidays 🐣

Following recent guidance it has been confirmed that you can all be reunited with your favourites ponies and get to hear Jackies lovely voice once again... I’m sure it’s been missed 😉

Following the announcement last week it is not yet clear a date at which we can reopen just yet - as soon as we are given a date you’ll be the first to know 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Whilst we can’t open for riding lessons we have taken the time to be very productive!

The arena has been given a well earned facelift with a new fence complete by Chris Martin Fencing and a new seating area has been constructed by our handy man Clive (modelled by Jackie enjoying the sun)🌞
