You have shown such selflessness and energy, that has created so many fantastic events and activities for all of the children to enjoy, as well as raising money towards trips and for things for the children to use and do in school.

We cannot forget there has also been an amazing team around you, parents and teachers, also selflessly helping and making memories for everyone.

I can say that I’ve had plenty of laughs, and I do miss our shopping trips and even the cupboard of doom 🙈🤣

You’ve always been there Dan, “whatever the weather, no matter whatever” enjoy your retirement, you have truly deserved it! 🥰

It's the end of an era, but what an end, we definitely went out in style Deri View Primary School !!!!!

A massive thank you to all the staff and pta who helped make this such a wonderful day, we hope you all enjoyed! Especially the teachers brave enough to put their heads in the splat target, Mr kane, Mr Callaghan, Mrs Mayo and Miss Club, what legends!
Even some of the children decided to get a splatting 🤣

A special massive thank you goes out to Meazy who helped me organise this, it definitely wouldn't have happened without her!

After 8 years of pta madness I am stepping down, it's been amazing to see what wonderful community spirit and awesome children we all have at the school over the years I've spent on the pta. It's been an honour to give back to a school that has been so fantastic for my kids, hopefully there's someone out there brave enough to take over next year!

Deri fest is coming this Saturday!

A celebration of a wonderful school before we change over to the new school.

Wow Deri View, what an amazing turn out! I'm sure nearly the whole school came together to enjoy afternoon tea and the unbelievable cakes that were entered in the competition.

I'd like to say a massive thank you to all the staff and pta members who pulled together in a massive effort to make this happen, it is very much appreciated!

And on a personal side note it's been lovely to have such a big turn out to one of our last ever events as a school. I've been on the pta for 7 years now and was at the very first bake off. This school, the children in it and all the parents who support our events have been a pleasure to work with over the years and it's wonderful that we are going out with a bang together! 💖

They're so good in fact that we have added prizes for second and third place in all the categories.

We have prizes from ziggies cafe, the trading post, little treat, Nichols and portico lounge as well as bake sets for the winners.

As a nod to the old days of chocolate bingo we have a huge selection of chocolate hampers to be won at the raffle this Thursday, just in time for Easter!

Raffle to be held after school at the bake offs afternoon tea.

Afternoon tea is available after school from 3.30 on the day of the bake off (Thursday 30th) where the winners will be announced.

A plate of food can be bought for £2.50 which includes your choice of 4x sandwich triangles, 2x slices of cake and tea, coffee or squash.

Tickets can be purchased at the office and come with a free raffle ticket. Alternatively all can be purchased at the event
