A huge congratulations to our wonderful Chloe!We are incredibly proud to announce that Chloe has officially completed her Level 2 CCPLD qualification. Not only did she smash it in record-breaking time, but she also achieved the absolute highest standard—all while caring for her own two young children. Her dedication, hard work, and passion are truly inspiring.The celebrations don't stop here, though! Chloe has an incredibly exciting month ahead as she gets married at the end of the month. Once the wedding celebrations are over, she will be taking the next big step in her career by beginning her Level 3 CCPLD qualification.Chloe, you are an absolute superstar, and we are all so incredibly proud of you. We are so lucky to have you in our nursery family, and we wish you the most magical wedding day!

From home to nursery: Today we made quesadillas! 🧀🇲🇽
Learning is always most meaningful when it connects to a child's real-world experiences. This week, inspired by one of our children sharing their favourite home-cooked meals, we turned our nursery kitchen into a Mexican cantina!Cooking with young children is packed with incredible learning opportunities:
Fine Motor Skills: Sprinkling the cheese, and folding the tortillas.
Early Math: Counting out ingredients, measuring portions, and cutting the finished quesadillas into triangles.
Sensory Exploration: Smelling the spices, tasting new flavours, and feeling the different textures.

We have been super busy behind the scenes making some wonderful updates to our nursery environments! 🛠️
👶Here’s a little sneak peek at what we've been up to:
🎨 Freshly Painted Baby Room: Our little ones now have a beautifully refreshed, bright, and cozy space to play, explore, and rest.
🍼 Brand New Milk Kitchen: We have installed a modern, state-of-the-art milk kitchen to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and care when preparing feeds for our babies.
🧺 New Laundry Room: We also have a fantastic new laundry room which will help us keep all of our blankets, linens, and soft toys beautifully fresh, clean, and ready for daily use!
We are always striving to provide the best possible environment for your children to thrive in, and we can’t wait for you to see these lovely new updates in person when we announce our open day shortly to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

🌱 Little Green Fingers & Big Appetites! 🍅🥒🥔
What a wonderful, busy time our preschool children have had in the nursery garden! We are so incredibly proud of our little helpers who rolled up their sleeves to harvest our very own homegrown cucumbers, tomatoes, and potatoes.
From digging deep into the soil to carefully plucking the ripe vegetables, the children have been fully immersed in hands-on learning.
They learned all about where our food comes from while practicing their fine and gross motor skills!
🍽️ From Plot to Plate...
The best part of growing food is tasting it! At tea time today, the children thoroughly enjoyed crunching on their freshly picked cucumbers. There is nothing quite like the taste of something you grew yourself! 😋
🥗 Tomorrow's Culinary Adventure!
The fun doesn't stop there. Tomorrow, our little chefs will be using their harvested potatoes and juicy tomatoes to create a delicious, fresh potato salad. Cooking together is an amazing way for children to build confidence, practice teamwork, and develop a positive relationship with healthy eating—supporting their overall Well-being

🌱 Little growers, big discoveries!
Today, our children became real farmers as they harvested the beetroot (betys) they’ve been lovingly growing. Under the Wales Non-Maintained Curriculum, hands-on experiences like this are so valuable for development.
Here is how our little ones explored and learned today:
Real-world connections: Pulling veggies from the soil connected them directly to nature (natur) and where food comes from.
Sensory exploration: They loved feeling the rough skin, seeing the vibrant purple (porffor) colours, and smelling the fresh mint (mintys).
Developing skills: Chopping, mixing, and mashing to make a delicious (blasus) beetroot and mint dip boosted their fine motor skills and independence.
The best part? Tasting their hard work on some crunchy crackers! We are so proud of our curious learners
