Today, our preschool children celebrated National Eat Your Vegetables Day by making their very own delicious vegetable soup! π²
The children enjoyed exploring a variety of fresh vegetables, learning about healthy eating, and helping to prepare the ingredients. They practised their chopping, mixing, and teamwork skills while discovering where different vegetables come from π
Well done to all our little chefs for their fantastic efforts today! π©βπ³π¨βπ³

What a lovely morning our preschoolers had today! ππ₯
Over the past few weeks, we have been working with UpBeat Music, exploring African drumming and a variety of exciting musical activities. Today, we were delighted to invite our parents and carers in to share in the experience and take part in the fun.
The children were so proud to showcase what they have been learning, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the music together. The smiles, enthusiasm, and confidence on display were fantastic to see!
A big thank you to UpBeat Music for helping to create such an engaging and memorable experience, and to all the parents and carers who joined us this morning and made it so special. β€οΈ

πβ¨ At Meadowbank Day Nursery, we believe books are a powerful way to inspire curiosity, learning, and a lifelong love of reading.
Our book displays include a wide range of fiction and non-fiction texts, helping children explore the world around them, discover new interests, and develop their knowledge and understanding. We carefully select books that celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and reflect the experiences of all children and families.
We are also proud to promote Welsh language and culture through our book collections, helping children develop an appreciation of Wales, its traditions, and the Welsh language from an early age.
By making books accessible, engaging, and meaningful, we encourage children to become confident readers, thinkers, and learners.
πβ€οΈ Every book opens a new adventure!
