Last night saw our Practical Exam Preparation session which was our biggest ever online session (so far!)
I had the please of welcoming 14 students to the session and tonight they’ll received a copy of the recording as well as my annotated notes and even some extra practise questions!

Got a teenager in Year 11? Have they told you they’ve got a practical exam this half term? 🙈
It’s a skills based exam that all WJEC Science qualifications sit this half term; so whether your teenager is doing triple science, double award, double applied or single applied they’re all doing this exam!
It may be skills based but there’s still things they can do the prepare them and this is where my workshop comes in!
I’ve been an examiner for this component of the exams since it started and I’ve used my wealth of knowledge to create a guidebook to help pupils through the exam as well as practise questions.
In this hour long workshop I’ll be taking pupils through the structure of the exam, we’ll take a look and the guidebook and questions and if they’re got any questions they can ask away! You’ll also get a copy of the recording and my notes after the session.
The best bit? It’s only £10!

To those of you that are new around here, Hi! If you’re not new, then thanks for sticking around 😂 I’m getting in the Christmas spirit (went and got the Christmas tree this afternoon 🎄) so thought it’d be nice to (re)introduce myself with five festive facts about me!
❄️The Grinch is my all time favourite Christmas film
❄️ I collect Christmas decorations from every place I go
❄️ I love a Christmas jumper, the more hideous the better (the one I’m wearing has koalas on 😂)
❄️ I prefer a picky tea Christmas night over an actual Christmas dinner
❄️ My favourite Christmas song is a toss up between Last Christmas and Fairytale of New York - don’t make me choose😂
