Sometimes in this job we question “are we doing enough “ . Wether the little things we do everyday are noticed and wether I am making the difference I hope I am.
The words in these cards remind me that I am doing a good job, and what I give to the children really does matter .
So knowing that you feel I have had a positive influence is something I will always be grateful for .
Thank you for reminding me why I love what I do ❤️

Well that has been an emotional week 🥲of goodbyes . This week has reflected on how special my job is and how hard the goodbyes are.
After all these years it never gets any easier .

My 3 Princesses have left the building and are moving onto big school and their next adventure and I know they are going to shine and be amazing 🤩

Over the time they have been with me, they have become more than just children I care for, they are a little part of our family , each one unique in their own way, sassy , funny, cheeky, give the best hugs and full of energy and I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of their lives .

To my incredible parents Zoë Greenhow Jake O'Sullivan, Hazelmaarita Sharples@shane Shelly BryanJames Hiatt , thank you for trusting me with your precious girls and for allowing me to be part of your lives .

Many thanks for the wonderful cards, special words which yes made me tear up again 😂 and for my wonderful flowers , chocolates and gifts , feeling very spoilt .

Childminding really is about so much more than caring for the children, it’s about building relationships , sharing memories and becoming longtime friends with the families .

Remember it’s not goodbye 👋 it’s see you soon ❤️❤️❤️

Now time to take a holiday , recharge my batteries and get ready to make new memories with the new little people starting very soon .

A day of mixed activities today .
Filling in our library cards / stickers .
Great enthusiasm in den making , collected their own blankets / accessories , resources to create some fab den play spaces , obviously I wasn’t allowed in .
It’s not for bigger people .
It’s a children’s den .
So I reluctantly stepped back 😂

Fab Dinky City session this afternoon which they all loved .

We then opened and looked at our letters , cards and gifts and games from pen pals .

A visit to somewhere shaded to have playtime and get dusty in the soil 🤪
Plenty of time for playing in the pool and keeping cool .
Ooh and comparing crocs with our friends ❤️🙂
