Important updates about the student sponsorship programme in our most recent newsletter (will be available soon on the website!)

21/12/2025

We have a newsletter available to read on the website about Simon, one of our RSVP trustees, and Mike, from HATWJ, who have recently returned from a Bugarama trip. They have shared a report as they visited a number of HATWJ projects, including the female rooms at the schools that RSVP has also supported through the generosity of Ellon Parish Church.

We apologise this is the first newsletter of the year. Unfortunately the website was down for the majority of the year. However, the website is fixed and the team at RSVP looks forward to sharing lots of exciting news and updates in 2026!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all our supporters!!

As I proudly celebrate the achievement of my Bachelor’s Degree in nursing 🎉, I extend my deepest gratitude to the entire RSVP family in Rwanda and the UK, @⁨Japhet⁩ @⁨~kaneful⁩ @⁨Mbarushimana Simon⁩
🙏My special thanks goes to my sponsor, who supported me from secondary school until I reached a bachelor degree.
Your love, sacrifice, and believing in me have shaped my life and made this journey possible.
Every step of this journey, every achievement, and the person I have become today are a reflection of your kindness and support 👏 .
Thank you RSVP for investing in my future and walking with me until this beautiful moment.

I am forever grateful💙

And now one year later... Jean Paul is due to graduate with his degree in project management next month 🥳

Jean Paul is one of our students at university thanks to the keen support of his sponsor. He is about to start his third year at Kepler College studying Project Management.

During his summer holiday, he had a project manager internship at the Rwanda Sign Language Bible Translation Society. In his most recent letter, he was sharing how much he enjoyed and gained from this attachment.

We wish him all the best as he enters his third year of university later this month!
