Αυτήν την Κυριακή σας περιμένουμε στο Mile End School στις 1. Φορέστε την στολή σας και ετοιμαστείτε για παιχνίδια και χορό. Όπως κάθε χρόνο, θα μοιραστούμε τον μπουφέ οπότε μπορείτε να φέρετε κανένα σνακ/χυμό κτλ.

Αγαπητοί γονείς,

Καλή χρονιά με υγεία και χαρές για όλες τις οικογένειες! Ευχόμαστε να περάσετε όμορφα αυτές τις γιορτινές μέρες.

Καθώς έχουμε αρκετό χιόνι και φαίνεται πως θα συνεχίσει να χιονίζει έως το Σάββατο, ο Σύλλογος Γονέων αποφάσισε να μην πραγματοποιηθούν τα μαθήματα αυτήν την Κυριακή. Τα μαθήματα θα ξεκινήσουν την επόμενη Κυριακή, στις 18 του μήνα.
Πολλές οικογένειες μετακινούνται με τα μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς και δεν θα θέλαμε κανείς να ταλαιπωρηθεί με αυτές τις καιρικές συνθήκες.

Ραντεβού, λοιπόν, την Κυριακή 18 του μηνός, στις γνωστές ώρες!

Dear parents,

Happy New Year, with health and joy for all families! We hope you enjoy these festive days.

Since we have a lot of snow and it seems it will continue snowing until Saturday, the parents’ committee has decided not to hold classes this Sunday, and instead to start the following Sunday, on the 18th. Many of our families use public transport, and we don’t want anyone to struggle in such conditions.

So, we will see you on Sunday the 18th, at the usual times!

🎉 Έξι Χρόνια Γλώσσας και Πολιτισμού

Πριν από έξι χρόνια, το μικρό μας σχολείο άνοιξε τις πόρτες του σε παιδιά που επιθυμούσαν να μάθουν ελληνικά και να αγκαλιάσουν τον ελληνικό πολιτισμό. Μέχρι σήμερα πάνω από 150 μαθητές από την Ελλάδα, την Κύπρο, τη Σκωτία και την Πολωνία έχουν περάσει από τα θρανία μας— προσθέτοντας το καθένα κάτι ξεχωριστό στο ταξίδι μας.

Παρά τις προκλήσεις και τις δυσκολιες συνεχίζουμε με επιμονή κάθε χρόνο 💪.
Ένα τεράστιο ευχαριστώ στην Aberdeen Scottish Hellenic Society που πάντα μας στηρίζει, και στους γονείς, τα παιδιά, τους δασκάλους και τους βοηθούς που κάνουν το σχολείο μας έναν τόπο χαράς και μάθησης.

Είμαστε περήφανοι για όσα έχουμε χτίσει! Ευχόμαστε πολλά ακόμη χρόνια δράσης και δημιουργίας 🎓🌿.

Six years ago, our small school opened its doors to children eager to learn Greek and embrace Hellenic culture. Since then, over 150 students from Greece, Cyprus, Scotland, and Poland have joined us — each one adding something special to our journey.

Despite challenges, we've grown stronger every year 💪. A huge thank you to the Aberdeen Scottish Hellenic Society for always having our back, and to the parents, children, teachers, and assistants who make our school a place of joy and learning.

We’re proud of what we’ve built. Here's to many more years of growth, connection, and celebration 🎓🌿.

The Aberdeen Hellenic School commenced the first year of its operation on 3rd of November 2019. It is under the umbrella of Aberdeen Scottish Hellenic Society (a registered charity) but it is self operated.

The school runs by a Parents Committee which has a very good co-operation and are always in contact to discuss, organise and provide solutions to any matters that may emerge. The school is based at the premises of Ferryhill Community Centre, in the city centre of Aberdeen and runs every Sunday morning.

Το Ελληνικό Σχολείο του Aberdeen ξεκίνησε χθες τη νεα ακαδημαϊκή χρονιά σε νέες εγκαταστασεις στο Mile End School.
Τα παιδιά ενθουσιαστηκαν με τις νεες ταξεις και τα νεα μαθήματα που προστέθηκαν. Καλή σχολική χρονιά!!!

Yesterday Aberdeen Hellenic School started the new Academic year at new premises. We will be based from now on in Mile End School in the Community Hub area.
Kids loved their new classes and the new modules that were introduced! Wishes for the new Academic year!!!
