I am Lynne Erskine, a new childminder in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire. I am 36, an live with my husband and 4 children in the Hillside area. I have 4 children of my own, aged from 5 to 12, and I have lots of experience in helping with children's groups and in school. I currently have vacancies to care for a maximum of 8 children (including my own children), of whom no more than 6 can be under 12, no more than 3 can be under 5, and no more than 1 can be under 1. I live in a spacious, cosy, well-equipped detatched home with a lovely enclosed garden. I have a large car and full driving licence, and car seats are provided for all children. I have a love of arts & crafts and the outdoors, and particularly enjoy walking. I will offer a fun and varied programme of events for the children in my care, both scheduled and with room for spontaneity if we have weather or an event that we would like to plan around. I have full PVG clearance both for my business and with Aberdeenshire Council, and I also hold an elementary food hygiene certificate and have completed induction training with the Scottish Childminding Association. I have scheduled more training in the very near future (First aid and Child protection) and ensure that I continually develop and refresh my knowledge and skills.
