Our BAC - Developing Young Workforce were delighted to present Frederick Igbogbo with the Foundation Apprentice of the Year – Social Services and Healthcare (Adults) award at this year’s St Machar Awards Ceremony!

Frederick's dedication, consistency, and positive attitude has been exceptional throughout the year and he has received consistent amazing feedback, including from our service users he supported.

We would also like to extend thanks to St Machar Academy for their continued partnership and support.

Frederick is now preparing for his next chapter at the University of Aberdeen, where he will study Biomedical Science. We wish him every success for the future.

This special event celebrates young people across the school community for their outstanding achievements throughout the academic year and Frederick truly stood out. His dedication, consistency, and positive attitude have been exceptional throughout the year. He has received consistent glowing feedback from his class facilitator, placement mentor, and, most importantly, the service users he supported.

International Conference on Integrated Care - ICIC 2026!💜

The International Conference on Integrated Care, hosted by the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) was hosted from 13-15 April 2026.

This event brings together researchers, practitioners, clinicians, managers and people with lived experience from around the world to explore integrated health and social care.

Our Managing Director, Lou Henderson attended the event which went very well and was a huge success! Both Lou and Bon Accord Care received excellent feedback from delegates on the fantastic work that BAC staff have delivered for the citizens of Aberdeen.

Huge well done to all across BAC who have helped to deliver the 2023-26 strategy. You have all now been internationally recognised for enablement, person-centred relationship-based care we deliver for people we support across all of our services. Well done! 👏
