🏆Primary 7 Young Engineers Club🚗

Before the end of term, our P7 Young Engineers had fantastic success at the Greenpower Goblin event at the Grampian Transport Museum. After intense races around the track, the group won numerous trophies including finishing 1st and 2nd overall in the competition.

A brilliant achievement and a testament to their hard work, teamwork and engineering skills. Well done, everyone! 👏

Robert Gordon's College pays tribute to Sir Ian Wood, one of Scotland's respected business leaders and philanthropists 28/07/2026

The Robert Gordon's College community is deeply saddened by the passing of former pupil Sir Ian Wood, Class of ‘60.

One of Scotland's most respected business leaders and philanthropists, Sir Ian remained immensely proud of his school roots throughout his life. His leadership, generosity and strong commitment to education have had a transformational impact on generations of young people attending Robert Gordon’s College.

He will be remembered not only for his extraordinary achievements in business, but for his humility, integrity and lifelong commitment to creating opportunities for others.

Our thoughts are with Lady Helen, the Wood family and all who had the honour of knowing Sir Ian.

Before the end of term, Cadet Company Sergeant Major Gaby was presented with her Lord-Lieutenant's Cadet Award.

Presented by the Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron, the award reflects her exceptional commitment, leadership and professionalism.

As a Lord-Lieutenant's Cadet, Gaby will assist at civic, military and ceremonial events throughout the year, including Royal visits, Remembrance services, Armed Forces Day, citizenship ceremonies and other important community occasions. She will also serve as an ambassador for Robert Gordon's College CCF and continue to inspire our younger cadets.
