We are the voice of all parents and carers of Milltimber School and Nursery. We appreciate the challenges that we all face during these exceptional times.

Everyone with a child at the school or nursery is welcome to join the Parent Council or to attend our meetings. We are a volunteer, parent-run group working on behalf of all parents to discuss educational matters that are of importance to us all. Your Parent Council is here as part of a supportive network around Milltimber School and Nursery. It’s so important that we all feel confident and comfortable in putting our views forward.

📆 Reminder: we’ll be holding a combined Parent Council & PTA meeting tomorrow (Tuesday 12th May), 6.30-8pm at the school.

This will include a short EGM to elect key roles (Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Fundraising Lead - previously PTA chair), followed by the usual meeting items.

We’d really encourage anyone interested to come along - whether that’s to get involved in a role or simply to have your say in matters concerning our school.

If you have any questions please reach out via PC email [email protected]

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you to the meeting in person.

📆 Our next Parent Council meeting for Milltimber School and Nursery will take place on Monday 2nd March, 6.30 - 8pm via Teams (link to be shared via email from school)

We will have our standing agenda items, plus a vote on our PC and PTA proposed merger. As previously communicated both the Parent Council and PTA elected members believe this merger would be beneficial as it will reduce duplication, streamline administrative tasks, and ensure alignment across fundraising and engagement activities. However, we want to ensure that as our parent and carer forum you have the opportunity to share comments, reflections or objections. You can do so by joining the upcoming meeting or by sharing any inputs via email before the meeting at [email protected]

💚 Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to our virtual meeting
