We know that some objects, such as lamp or the Sun, produce light and we call them light sources.

Other objects do not produce light on their own, but are good at reflecting light, for instance, a mirror and we call them reflectors.

To learn more about reflection and light, check page CREST Awards’ page 6-7 at https://primarylibrary.crestawards.org/star-home-learning/63263936

Here at TechFest we aim to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (#STEM) activities to young people, and the wider community, across Scotland. Our recently launched STEM Next - an essay competition exploring the future of STEM research, has reached participants from the entire #UnitedKingdom and we couldn’t be happier to know that our mission to promote STEM has spread beyond #Scotland!

All this would not have been possible without the enormous support from our sponsors! A massive THANK YOU to Xodus, Worley and TechnipFMC for sponsoring STEM Next project! https://techfest.org.uk/education/ages-over-11/stem-next-essay
