We said Bon Voyage to big Cameron as he leaves for Florida today !

He heads off for rehearsal before joining the Norwegian Bliss as the ‘Handyman’ in the Choir of Man. Slightly terrifying that he will be tap dancing on a bar and table. We hope you don’t hit the turbulent seas at the same time ! Ha ha.

We were delighted that Hollie got the trophy from the Grampian Stage Dance Festival yesterday. It was particularly nice that she had won the Edith Duncan Memorial Trophy last September.

Edith Duncan was Rachel’s dance teacher for many, many years and put Rachel through her teaching exams.

Huge Good Luck to Libby, Chloe and Sofie who are performing at the Archie Foundation Variety show today. They have been working on their piece for the last few weeks.

It’s going to be an emotional performance and We can’t wait to hear about it all !

Meet Libby, Sofie and Chloe. Libby has been in the Variety Show for the past two years, and this year might be the most special yet as she is joined by her sisters on stage👯

Libby’s story gives a lovely sense of what the show can mean. Born seven weeks prematurely, Libby and her family have been supported by Archie through hospital stays, surgeries and appointments, including accommodation for her mum and activities that made hospital days less frightening.

The Variety Show has helped Libby meet other children who have faced challenges too, grow in confidence and feel proud to be herself. This will be her third year taking part, and her family are proud of the way she keeps trying her best and giving back. Libby is also so pleased to be joined by her sisters this year, Sofie and Chloe – who can’t wait to support their sister on stage💙

Week 1 - Saturday round up !

Now it’s time for our senior shows …. Going back to 80’s made musicals (so it’s an old musical for our teenagers!) but it’s 2 classic 1hr musicals in one production.

1st half is 42nd Street and we will then take you Singin’ In the Rain for our 2nd Act.

We got started on them last night and the songs are super catchy already ….
