π International Dance Day
This International Dance Day, weβre celebrating our ConfiDance programme, which continues to help young girls build confidence and express themselves through dance.
The programme welcomes girls from P5 to P7 from 14 schools across the city, with a finale performance, The Big Big Show, taking place at Abbotswell Primary, where 45 pupils took part.
Katrina Carr, our Lead Active Schools Coordinator, commented βConfiDance is about so much more than dance. Itβs about encouraging girls to express themselves confidently while building connections with others.
βThe ConfiDance programme allows us to motivate the girls physically while challenging them choreographically, and to see it all come together during the final show was incredibly powerful.β
