How do you prefer to follow & record your workouts?

For me, I prefer to use the notes feature in my phone.
Why?
1) Because I lose everything &
2) I find it way quicker than anything else.

We use three different methods with our total fitness packages & online clients.

Let me know what you prefer,

1) phone app 📲

Pros:
Easy to follow,
Loads of structured plans to choose from.
Video clips to keep you right.
Records the weights you lifted for future reference.
You can set reminders for your next workout.

Cons:
It's too easy to get distracted using your phone.
The battery might die.
Some people find apps a slower option, compared to just writing down what you've done.

1) Books/folder ✍️

Pros:
Faster than using an app.
Let's you stay in the zone with less distractions.
Plenty space for extra notes.

Cons:
No videos clips to keep you right.
You might forget to bring it or lose it.

3) Phone notes 📝

We have workout documents that you save in your phones notes,
Similar layout to how it looks in the book/folder version you write on.

Pros:
Quickly access your plan.
Most people already use notes to track weights & workouts as it's so easy to use.
Plenty room for extra notes.

Cons:
No videos clips to keep you right.
It's too easy to get distracted using your phone.
The battery might die.

Use all three or pick the best one for you.
