📣We've got flexible and funded spaces for eligible 2s and all 3-5 year olds from August onwards!
At Cummings Park Nursery we do things a bit differently - we encourage parents to create their own bespoke sessions, matching their work, college or other caring commitments.
Thanks to our flexible model parents can:
⏱ Book extra hours
🎉 Only pay for what they book
🔐 Change your bookings in line with their schedule or rota
This helps to stay at work or in college, reduces childcare costs and helps to increase income.
We're open 8am-6pm Monday-Friday

In Scotland, families can choose to use their child’s 1,140 funded hours in either a:
-🏣 Local Authority nursery, or
- 🏫Funded Provider (private, voluntary, or childminding services working in partnership with the Local Authority, like us!)
No matter which option you choose, the experience, entitlement and quality will be the same.
All funded providers - including Local Authority nurseries - are monitored using the Care Inspectorate’s Quality Improvement Framework (QIF) which means that wherever you choose your child will receive:
-🧘♂️A caring, safe, welcoming environment
-🤸♀️Learning through play with experienced practitioners
-🥇Support for their individual needs
-🎤A focus on their voice, rights and wellbeing
-Positive relationships with staff who know and care about them
This means that all funded settings:
-Offer the same funded entitlement
-Follow the same quality expectations
-Are regularly monitored by the Local Authority to ensure high‑quality learning and care
So, why leave?
At FCSS:
-We provide a flexible model where you can change and cancel your bookings regularly
-You know the setting, the team and the routine
-Your child is settled, has friends and has built positive relationships with our team.
If you have any questions speak to a member of our team, we're all here to help and we all want you to stay!
