⭐️ Meet The Team ⭐️

Meet Hollie, one of our qualified practitioners in the 2-3 Room at Cummings Park Nursery. From a young age, Hollie knew she wanted a career helping others. Although she originally planned to pursue primary education, her work experience introduced her to the world of early years and helped her realise just how important these early stages are in supporting children's development and learning. Hollie loves watching children grow in confidence, reach new milestones and develop their own unique personalities. 🤍

Hollie holds her SVQ Level 3 and is currently completing a NESCol course in Understanding Individuals with Learning Disabilities. She has also taken part in a variety of workshops, including outdoor learning, mindfulness, care and feeding of young children, trauma training and responsive planning, all of which support her in providing high-quality experiences for the children in her care. 💻

Outside of work, Hollie attends Girls' Brigade every Wednesday evening and has been part of the organisation for an impressive 16 years, progressing from a young member to a dedicated leader. She enjoys all things creative, especially crocheting and knitting, and loves experimenting in the kitchen and discovering new places to eat. As a vegetarian, finding new favourites can sometimes be a challenge, but one she enjoys! Hollie also loves attending Highland Games events to support her partner's pipe band and is always keen to learn something new, often teaching herself skills through a variety of hobbies. 🧶🍽️🎶

Fun fact: Hollie has sprained both of her ankles so many times she's lost count, but estimates it's been around eight times each! 🦶😂

Our friends at Pregnant Then Screwed Scotland want to know, What it’s like to be a mum in Scotland in 2026…..

They are creating a series of films of mums’ stories from across Scotland. The interviews will explore the women’s experiences of having a child:
● Pre and post birth care
● Support from family, friends and the wider health service,
● Was returning to work an option?
● Accessing childcare
● Discrimination

Taking part would involve:
● An informal chat with the team beforehand.
● Up to two hours of filming at a location best suited to them in September 2026.
● A £50 high street voucher as a thank you.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and contributors will be able to discuss options around anonymity, what they feel comfortable sharing, and can withdraw at any stage before publication.

Meet Vicky, one of our Trainee Practitioners in the 2-3 Room. With a passion for working with children, Vicky always knew she wanted a career in childcare. She finds it incredibly rewarding supporting children as they learn, grow and develop into their own unique personalities. Vicky enjoys creating positive relationships with the children in her care and helping to provide a fun, nurturing environment where they can thrive. 🥰

Vicky is currently working towards her SVQ Level 3 and is close to completing her qualification. She has successfully completed all of her mandatory training and is always eager to take part in additional learning opportunities that will benefit both her practice and the children she cares for. Vicky is committed to continuing her professional development and expanding her knowledge within the childcare sector. 💻

Outside of work, Vicky enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. In her spare time, she loves watching sports, particularly darts and football, and can often be found shopping for clothes she definitely doesn't need! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🛍️⚽

Fun fact: Vicky has never broken a bone, despite being convinced her luck can't last forever! 😂🦴

Meet Jaelyn, one of our Trainee Practitioners in the 3-5 Room. Having always wanted to work with children, Jaelyn took her leap into childcare over a year ago and has loved every moment since. She enjoys supporting children and their families, building positive relationships, and watching each child grow and develop. Jaelyn finds childcare incredibly rewarding and loves celebrating every milestone children achieve along their learning journey. ❤️

Jaelyn is currently working towards completing her SVQ Level 3 and has achieved numerous training certificates throughout her time in childcare. She is passionate about putting her learning into practice and is currently supporting the children in the 3-5 Room to develop their Makaton skills. 💻

As the middle child in her family, Jaelyn values the importance of strong family bonds. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, cheering on her partner at his ice hockey games, and making memories with her two dogs. 🏒👫🐶

Fun fact: Jaelyn has a unique hidden talent, she can wiggle her ears without even touching them! 👂😂

Meet Danyelle, one of our Trainee Practitioners in the 2-3 Room at Cummings Park Nursery. With a natural passion for caring for others, Danyelle loves building relationships with children and families and enjoys being part of each child's learning journey. As the oldest of five siblings, nurturing and supporting others has always come naturally to her, and she loves watching children grow, develop and reach new milestones every day. ♥️

Danyelle is close to completing her SVQ Level 3 qualification and is excited to continue developing her knowledge and skills throughout her career at Cummings Park. She is passionate about providing high-quality care and learning experiences and looks forward to growing both personally and professionally within the childcare sector. 📚💻

Outside of work, Danyelle enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is especially close to her mum, who she describes as her biggest inspiration. Danyelle also loves attending concerts, exploring new places and making special memories on days out and trips away. 🎤👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✈️

Fun fact: Danyelle's dog is called Tuna... just like the fish! 🐶🐟😂

⭐️ Meet The Team ⭐️

Meet Kelsey, one of our Qualified Practitioners in the 3-5 Room at Cummings Park Nursery. Kelsey has been an auntie since the age of six and has always been surrounded by children, which inspired her to choose childcare for her fourth-year work experience placement. After college, she studied Travel and Tourism and later worked in the hospital as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker in A&E. However, Kelsey realised her true passion was working with children and decided to take the exciting step into a career in childcare. 🤍

Kelsey is SVQ Level 3 qualified and has recently completed a two-day PEEP Learning training course. She also holds numerous professional certificates and is committed to keeping her training up to date, ensuring she continues to provide the highest quality care and learning experiences for children. 💻

Outside of work, Kelsey loves spending time with her five nephews and three nieces and enjoys making memories with her family. She is the youngest of four sisters and values the close bonds they share. Kelsey also enjoys attending gigs, reading, painting (even though she says she's not very crafty!), and travelling to discover new places, both in the UK and abroad. ✈️📚🎨

Fun fact: Kelsey has been obsessed with dinosaurs and Jurassic Park for as long as she can remember! She's watched the films so many times that she can quote them word for word, and when she was younger, she dreamed of becoming a palaeontologist. 🦕🌋😂

Meet Ola, one of our Qualified Practitioners in the 3-5 Room. With a genuine passion for supporting children during their early years, Ola chose a career in childcare after helping care for his nieces and nephews while still in high school. He loves being part of children's learning journeys and takes pride in creating a calm, nurturing environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to thrive. His patient and caring nature makes him a valued member of the team and a familiar, reassuring presence for both children and families. 🤍

Ola has achieved his SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) and also holds a Higher National Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology. Throughout his time with FCSS, he has taken part in a wide range of professional development opportunities and is committed to continually expanding his knowledge and keeping his training up to date to provide the best possible care and learning experiences for children. 💻

Outside of work, Ola enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son and deeply values family life. He is a big football fan and loves both watching and playing the game, helping him stay active and healthy. ⚽👨‍👩‍👦

Fun fact: While Ola enjoys many adventures, one thing you'll never catch him doing is swimming in open water. He has a fear of oceans, lakes and other large bodies of water! 🌊😆

Meet Becky, one of our Qualified Practitioners in our 2-3 Room at Cummings Park Nursery. After gaining her qualification in hairdressing, Becky decided she wanted to explore a new career path and discovered her passion for childcare. She loves creating a warm, home-away-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and supported, while helping them learn, develop and grow every day. 🤍

Becky has worked in childcare for 12 years and has achieved her SVQ Level 3 qualification. She is passionate about professional development and takes pride in ensuring all of her training remains up to date, allowing her to provide the highest standard of care and support for the children in her room. 📚✨

Outside of work, Becky is a proud mum to her two daughters, aged 12 and 6. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, keeping active at the gym, and recently achieved a huge personal milestone by completing her very first half marathon. 🏃‍♀️💪👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

Fun fact: Becky has never broken a bone in her life, something she's very proud of! 🦴😂
