Youth Media vs Chemistry! | shmu Our Youth Media Team were recently visited by Dr Alan McCue from the University of Aberdeen in partnership with the Curiosity Fund during British Science Week! The group got to watch multiple chemistry demonstrations, film them and speak about it on their radio show.  

Adventurous ideas to make net zero a reality 01/04/2022

UKRI Adventurous Net Zero announcement:

Ten adventurous new projects have been awarded funding by EPSRC in support of the government’s ambition to achieve a society by 2050.

The projects include generating energy from seawater, developing potassium batteries, tackling the challenges of ammonia fuel, zero-carbon alternatives to power stations and more.

The prestigious Carnegie PhD Scholarship scheme supports a limited number of graduates, with first class Honours undergraduate degrees from a Scottish university, who wish to pursue three years of postgraduate research leading to a PhD at a university in Scotland. There is no restriction on the subject or field.
