World War II with Tom Hanks 02/06/2026

Artists and actors often have the courage to tell stories, ask difficult questions, and highlight what can be improved in our society.

How do they do that?
By choosing films or songs that tell stories about kindness, courage, suffering, or harm.

Art can inspire reflection, discussion, and positive change.

We often see and experience things differently, which is why the world needs creativity, imagination, and the courage to speak openly.

Will you join me in discovering how much impact World War II, despite ending decades ago, still has on our lives today?

Good afternoon, everyone 🥰

🟢 It’s time for our Wednesday Stress Relief Techniques 😊

There is a lot we can say about the impact stress can have on both our mental and physical health.

What is important to remember is that regardless of whether you are a man or a woman, long-term stress may affect many areas of health. Some effects can be shared, while others may influence health differently.

Yes, relaxation techniques can help.

But they do not always remove the effects of prolonged stress on the body.
That is why taking care of emotional wellbeing, regular health checks, and prevention is important.

Stress is not only about workload or daily life. Sometimes it comes from experiences where a person felt powerless, unheard, unsafe, or controlled.

🟢 Today’s method: Avoid unhealthy habits.

Alcohol, smoking, and excessive caffeine may bring temporary relief, but sometimes they can also create new difficulties.

The same can happen when we become attached to what hurts us instead of what brings us peace.

💙 Health Reminder

Did you know that long-term stress and experiences such as abuse can affect not only mental health but also physical health?

Living in constant stress may influence:
• blood pressure
• sleep
• stress hormone levels
• heart health

Our bodies remember what our minds try to survive.

Taking care of emotional wellbeing is also taking care of physical health.
Because prevention is not only about the body—it is also about the experiences we carry.

Therapy should never become a continuation of fear, control, or intimidation.

It should be a safe space where people can heal, be heard, and regain autonomy.

🟣 Saturday Movie Reflection: Psychology in Films

🎬 The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Watching a movie more than once really changes your perspective.

The first time, we focus on what happens.
The second time, we begin to understand why.

Today’s movie is a complex combination of layers—from early childhood experiences to their consequences in adult life.

An incredible amount of guilt, returning flashbacks, and trauma that was unconsciously hidden for years until it resurfaced.

Love for someone because of who they are, carried quietly for years without saying it out loud.

Someone who understood us without words, where just looking into each other’s eyes became one of the clearest reflections of true feelings.

And the pain of watching someone become attached to what is hurting them.

The relationships we create in our lives can sometimes reflect our early experiences because what we grow up with may start to feel normal.

But the normalisation of abuse is harmful and should never happen.

👉 What do you believe you deserve?
👉 What shaped those beliefs?
👉 How do experiences influence your relationships?
👉 What keeps you attached to what hurts you?

Yours,
Monika

💙 Health reminder

Last week I had the opportunity to take part in a conference about cancer prevention and one of the important topics discussed was breast cancer awareness.

Prevention is incredibly important because it helps us understand risk factors, the importance of regular check-ups, and encourages us to pay attention to changes in our body. Awareness can make a difference.

At the same time, one presentation reminded me that behind every diagnosis there is a person and a story. The emotional impact, fear, uncertainty, and changes people experience are something we should never forget.

Please do not forget about those who have heard the diagnosis. They often need support more than we realise. Do not let anyone be defined by a scar. Be there for them, help them, and remind them that they are more than their illness. 💚

Always remember:
✨ maintaining a healthy weight
✨ regular physical activity
✨ reducing alcohol consumption
✨ participating in national breast screening programmes

Yours,
Monika

🎬 Good Will Hunting

Watching a movie more than once really changes your perspective.

The first time, we focus on what happens.
The second time, we begin to understand why.

Today’s movie shows a complex combination of factors that affect a genius with incredible potential.

A potential that was noticed by someone who refused to give up on him and gave him a chance to develop—like a diamond in the rough.

Because sometimes our actions are driven by emotions that we cannot control,
or because we have never met someone who taught us how to express them in a healthy and safe way—for ourselves and for others.

That is why prison is not always the best solution.

Sometimes we simply need someone who believes in us more than we believe in ourselves.

One of the most painful punishments is the cycle in which we criminalise ourselves and do not know how to escape from it—regret combined with remorse.

Because sometimes we are the harshest judges in our own lives.

Sometimes we unconsciously harm ourselves, and in those moments, I wish for you to have people around you whom you will not need to ask for help—because they will notice your pain and do everything in their power to help you leave that circle.

Have you ever escaped your own emotional prison?

Yours,
Monika

Good morning, everyone 🥰

🟢 It’s time for our Wednesday Stress Relief Techniques 😊

This week reminded me how important proper rest really is. After stress and overthinking, it is good to pause — especially from the devices we work on every day. If you spend a lot of time in front of a computer, do not forget to give your eyes and mind a bit of rest.

🟢 Today’s method: Go for a walk 🚶‍♀️🌿

You can try reducing your social media time by even one hour and replacing it with time outside in nature. Notice how it affects your mind, mood, and overall wellbeing.

Take care of yourself and give yourself time to recover too 👣

Monika

💙 Health Reminder

Did you know that some symptoms can remain silent?

Take action early so problems do not become advanced.

How can you help protect your kidneys?
✨quit smoking
✨stay hydrated
✨exercise regularly
✨maintain a healthy weight
✨reduce salt intake
✨be careful with painkillers
(Avoid excessive use of NSAIDs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, diclofenac, and naproxen)

👉 Remember: Always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s advice about painkillers, and never take more than the recommended dose.

Small steps can make a big difference.

Yours,
Monika

🟣 Saturday Movie Reflection: Psychology in Films

🎬 Patch Adams

Watching a movie more than once really changes your perspective.

The first time, we focus on what happens.
The second time, we begin to understand why.

Today, I would like to write about someone incredible.

Someone who knew how to listen and had the ability to see people’s needs even when they didn’t communicate them.

An incredible empathy shaped through life experiences.

His life was not easy, but he chose to use those experiences to help others and make their lives better—even when there was not much time left.

Is laughter the best medicine?

Maybe not always.
But it can help bring light into someone’s life and change the way they feel, especially for those who need it the most.

Because sometimes we can have knowledge about medicine and the world,
but still not know how to stop someone from giving up on themselves—even when they truly want to.

Humanity that does not treat only the disease,
but the whole person by accepting them the way they are.

Sometimes being truly seen can become part of healing.

Have a wonderful Saturday 💜

Yours,
Monika

🔵 Monday Health Reminder

We often wait until something feels wrong.

Until we feel tired.
Until something hurts.

But our body doesn’t always show clear signs right away.
That’s why regular blood tests matter.

Not because something is wrong—
but because they help you stay aware.

Sometimes, the smallest check
can prevent something much bigger.

Because prevention saves lives—
and early action matters.

So maybe today is a good moment to ask:
✨ When was the last time I checked my health?
💙

Yours,
Monika
