Calling all women in computer science
NatWest are inviting you to Women Insight Experience taking place on the 21st
August 2025!
This is a fantastic opportunity for those in their first year (or second year of a four-
year course). The aim is to create a bridge between women in STEM and careers in
the financial services, particularly those with a technical or computer science degree.
The Insight Event is a one-day, in-person event that will give you a taste of the
company – which could lead to an internship in 2026.
What you can expect on the day:
• Meet inspiring leaders and potential future colleagues.
• Build your career skills, like networking and pitching.
• Spend an afternoon job shadowing.
• Be invited to apply for NatWest Group’s 2026 internship programme after the
event.
There are two insight opportunities for you to choose from:
Software Engineering: Link in bio - https://link.sanctuarygraduates.co.uk/C2u
Digital Transformation: Link in bio - https://link.sanctuarygraduates.co.uk/1ZxK

It’s time for the last ho-ho-hack-n-yap of the semester, on the 3rd of December. Bring your friends a computer, and a christmas spirit and work on questions, or use the space as a new environment to work on your own projects! (it’s quieter than the library trust)
Find us in MacRobert MR106 from 6-8pm 🙂
(The MacRobert building is still having issues so if you are unable to evacuate via the stairs in the event of an emergency, please let one of the committee know if you plan to attend)

The event is being held on Saturday the 19th October on campus, between 10am and 4pm. You can compete in teams of up to three, so bring some friends and work on some challenges together! As this is a competition, there'll be no access to the internet throughout the competition, so no time for any brainrot.
