Our friends at Pregnant Then Screwed Scotland want to know, What it’s like to be a mum in Scotland in 2026….

They are creating a series of films of mums’ stories from across Scotland. The interviews will explore the women’s experiences of having a child:
● Pre and post birth care
● Support from family, friends and the wider health service,
● Was returning to work an option?
● Accessing childcare
● Discrimination

Taking part would involve:
● An informal chat with the team beforehand.
● Up to two hours of filming at a location best suited to them in September 2026.
● A £50 high street voucher as a thank you.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and contributors will be able to discuss options around anonymity, what they feel comfortable sharing, and can withdraw at any stage before publication.

We got lots of fresh vegetables delivered from c-fine this morning. The children have made soup packs for members of the community to come and collect.

At FCSS Tillydrone we do things a bit differently - we encourage parents to create their own bespoke sessions, matching their work, college or other caring commitments.

Thanks to our flexible model they can:

⏱ Book extra hours
🎉 Only pay for what they book
🔐 Change your bookings in line with their schedule or rota

This helps to stay at work or in college, reduces childcare costs and helps to increase income.

We're open 8am-6pm Monday-Friday

We're not like a normal nursery; we offer a flexible, book by the hour model so you can choose a childcare pattern that works when you do!
