Announcement, tomorrow’s event at Cadw Raglan Castle has been cancelled due to hot weather and the wellbeing of the birds and general public.

We shall be attending the castle next Wednesday and Thursday instead.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

Working in tourism it’s always important to let your visitors understand what the local wildlife trends are. It’s also to great to be involved with local community projects and we hope to cover both at Wings of Wilderness

Away from the bird flying and display giving is another passion, visual expression and storytelling. For those who don’t know the other side of my work, I have been a documentary photographer for a number of years looking into environmental issues, history, culture. But I also use it to take some time away from the the hectic side of life.

It’s a way of clearing the mind and allowing creativity along the way. But it’s not always about getting the shot, it’s about being there or spending the time with the person you are documenting.
