💙 Celebrating 40 Wonderful Years at Park Lane 💙

This week, we say a heartfelt thank you to a truly special member of the Park Lane family as she retires after an incredible 40 years of service.

Over the past four decades, she has worked in every class across the school, supporting and inspiring countless pupils and colleagues along the way.

She has watched generations of children learn, grow, achieve, and move on to the next stages of their lives, and many former pupils and families will remember the kindness, care, and dedication she brought to Park Lane every day.

Her commitment to our school community has been unwavering, and the impact she has had on the lives of so many children cannot be measured. She has been a friend, mentor, colleague, and role model to staff past and present, and her presence will be greatly missed by everyone.

Thank you for 40 years of laughter, support, hard work, and unforgettable memories. We wish you a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement and hope you know how much you have meant to the Park Lane community.

✨ Year 6/7 Prom 2026 ✨

What a fantastic evening we had at our Year 6/7 Prom this week! 💃🕺

The pupils looked amazing and had a wonderful time celebrating with their friends. There was lots of dancing, laughter, and plenty of special memories made. It was also lovely to see our staff enjoying the evening alongside the children.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the event and make it such a success. Your hard work and attention to detail made the evening truly special for our pupils.

Free children’s cooking session at Cynon link during Summer! - Take a look!

FREE Children's Cooking Demonstration! JUST 10 SPACES! 👨‍🍳

Looking for something fun for the little ones this summer? Join us on Monday 3rd August at 9:30am for a hands on cooking session where children will learn essential kitchen skills while creating some tasty treats!

- Only 10 spaces available (children must be accompanied by an adult/carer).

During the session they'll:
- Prepare and enjoy their own lunch
- Make a delicious dessert to take home
- Learn fun, practical cookery skills along the way

Please ensure children have breakfast before arriving.

Spaces are very limited and are expected to fill quickly, so please only book if you're able to attend.

Today, our incredible pupils embraced every opportunity to move, learn, achieve, and celebrate what they can do. As a proud MOVE School, we're passionate about empowering every child to build independence, confidence, and functional skills through meaningful movement.

From big milestones to everyday achievements, every step, stretch, smile, and success deserves to be celebrated. We couldn't be prouder of our amazing pupils and dedicated staff for making today such a memorable day.
