Information regarding MFL visits; this update is for teachers based in Mid/West/South Wales and over the border to England. Due to this geography my travels will be in a number of blocks of week long visits.

The remaining Before Christmas dates available are currently;
Fri 17th, Wed 22nd, Thurs 23rd, Wed 29th, Thur 30th November.
Fri 1st, Tues 5th, Wed 6th, Thur 7th December.

For teachers where GCSE options cut off dates means that an after Christmas visit will have more impact 2024 visits will commence in February which together with March are both currently wide open for your consideration.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been quiet on here a while. The time has come to deactivate. If you are interested in learning one of the languages I offer for a holiday, work event or as a new interest, then please get in touch.

I need to update my price list, but there will be a £5 increase:
One to one sessions £25
Small group booking of £45 (price can be split between you).

I plan to deliver sessions via Teams, but if this isn’t an option, then please message me and we can discuss a suitable option for you.

Just a reminder, I’m first language Welsh and have a joint honours degree in French and Spanish. I taught both languages at GCSE and Spanish at A level for 8 years. I have the current WJEC textbooks and course material for all languages.

Another tip, type your revision topic into Kahoot and practise other people’s vocabulary sets!

Home learning tips for GCSE and A Level:

It’s important to tackle vocabulary lists head on, increasing your vocabulary will improve your subject knowledge!

Step 1. Go through your course vocabulary lists and RAG them with a highlighter (Red, Amber, Green).

Step 2. Create a free Quizlet account and create your sets for your red lists and amber lists.

Step 3. Practise your sets and go into competition with yourself. If you have fun during learning you will remember more!

You’re wasting time revising what you already know!!!

Adult tuition sessions available from May 11th between 4pm-6pm online only due to the current pandemic situation at a reduced rate of £15 per session as resources will be sent electronically. Face to face sessions will begin once Government has given the all clear. GCSE and A Level tuition will start in September. However top up revision to practice speaking skills is available throughout the summer to reinforce confidence ready for return to school in September. Please inbox if interested.
