As a Parent your choice of childcare is one of the most important decisions
you’ll ever make. At Rachael’s Playhouse we are a team of highly educated practitioners who offer high quality childcare in a small nursery environment. Many of our staff hold early years degrees and the knowledge of those embeds our ethos. Our ethos is to nurture every child so they feel
loved and have a sense of belonging. The settings are very much child led and offer a home from home feel. We use real life resources so that the children learn skills they can take into adulthood. Rachael’s Playhouse will give young children boundless opportunities to learn through imagination, creativity, play and lots of outings to have real life experiences about the world around us, while offering parents peace of mind that their child couldn’t be better cared for in a lovely home based setting. We are able to offer full time, part time, before and after school (including school runs) and holiday care. Rachael’s Playhouse has 2 small nurseries based in Hirwaun & Aberdare. Children from 6months to 5 attend the setting at different times throughout the day. Rachael’s Playhouse has a large playroom and a secure `all weather` outdoor garden area offering an extended learning environment to all children. The main playroom is provided with developmentally appropriate resources and furniture and staffed with suitable qualified staff and assistants. Training is paramount and is undertaken on a regular basis and covers all aspects of child care. We are a "Flying Start" registered setting and a member of the
"Children Come First" network for RCT,
And also approved by CIW and RCT.

Flying Start funded childcare is now expanding to more children in Rhondda Cynon Taff, if your little one is turning two before the end of the year please get in touch now for us to check eligibility. We are holding a number of open days throughout the summer, details are below.
