It’s been a joy watching you all learn, grow, laugh and become the confident children you are today.

We have decided to hold two sponsored days in aid of Together for Teddy.
Children are able to wear Pyjamas on Thursday 27th August. All donations will be gratefully received.

We are holding a sponsored Teddy bears picnic in aid for Together for Teddy. All monies raised will be donated to this local cause. Sponsor forms will be given out tomorrow.
All children attending can bring a teddy of their choice.

‼️Red Heat Warning Update ☀️🌡️
We are aware that majority of schools are closing and we will try our best to accommodate you where we can.
Our nursery is closely monitoring the current Red Heat Warning for tomorrow and taking extra precautions to keep all children safe and comfortable as well as staff.

Measures in place include:

Regular hydration throughout the day, children will have access to water to drink
No outdoor activities during the red warning
Continuous monitoring of children for signs of heat-related illness
We kindly ask parents to:
Send children with a named water bottle
Dress children in lightweight, breathable clothing
The wellbeing of our children and staff remains our highest priority. We will continue to monitor official guidance and provide updates as needed.
If we feel children are struggling then parents will be contacted.

‼️ HEAT WAVE UPDATE‼️

At the moment Wales is covered by an amber warning for most of next week. We will do everything possible to ensure that all children are kept at a cool temperature whilst in nursery.
The precautions that we have put in place and ask parents to follow are
• Parents to dress children in loose, light coloured clothing and staff will be wearing appropriate clothing for the weather ( babies will be stripped down)
• All children to please bring in a water bottle with their child’s name on which will be kept full throughout the day
•All children to bring in spare clothes as there will be water play inside
• No children will be allowed outside on the days that have a amber warning in place
• Windows will be kept open and blinds will be closed to help reduce the temperature inside

If we find children are really struggling due to the heat then parents will be contacted, if you have any question please don’t hesitate to ask

Children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar. The children observed how a tiny caterpillar grows and forms a cacoon before transforming into a butterfly. These hands-on experiences help develop their curiosity, observation skills, vocabulary and understanding of the natural world.

The children have benefited greatly from taking part in a variety of activities that support their physical, social, and emotional development. All children were able to build confidence, relationships and learn new skills through play.

Our new setting coming soon 🌟

We are incredibly excited to share some wonderful news with the local community. As a family with deep roots in Rogerstone, it means a great deal to us to have purchased a building in the area where we were raised and have so many cherished memories. Following the purchase of our new premises, we have now secured planning permission and are looking forward to transforming the space into a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are aiming to open in September 2026 and cannot wait to welcome local families through our doors, build lasting relationships, and become a valued part of the community for many years to come 🌟
