I am fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 in early years childcare, and attend other courses on a regular basis, meaning I have also qualified in Child Protection, First Aid and Food Safety. My first language is English, however I have a good grasp of Welsh, having previously attended various courses to further my language skills. I have a strong focus on the use of Welsh within the setting, introducing
the Welsh language through to use of learning and play, as well as attending local Ty a Fi groups. I have a daughter who is seven years old, and is very sociable, compassionate and caring towards my minded children. I have a warm, comfortable and welcoming two bedroom house in Llanarth in a safe cul-de-sac, within easy reach of the A487; easily accessible and with ample parking, It has quality indoor and outdoor play areas, with a wide variety of toys suitable for all ages and stages of development, including a large wooden playhouse outdoors. I also provide a wide range of activities such as role play, construction, jigsaws, story telling and singing, messy play, arts and craft, dressing up and more. I take the children on regular outings, such as park, beach, walks/ picnics and indoor soft play. Occasionally, I will also arrange full day visits to places such as Folly Farm, take the children swimming or to the cinema. I also attend local parent/toddler groups, visit other childminders and promote every day living experiences such as visit cafe's, trips to the local shops, banks and post office. I also have a sleeping/quiet time arrangements. I have recently been inspected by CIW, and received excellent feedback. I am also DBS checked and first aid qualified. I am able to collect from Aberaeron, Synod Inn, Llanarth and New Quay school's subject to school run times and days. My hourly rate is currently £4.50.
