The Dalai Lama was spot on! We need to connect with children and gain their trust before we can help them to learn. When children struggle with confidence in a particular subject, that can be a real barrier to learning. That’s where a talented tutor can help. I have often experienced children who get stuck on certain concepts then lose confidence and begin to fall behind. They often can’t get past a particular block then start to think they are not very good at something which leads naturally to disengagement caused by fear of failure.

I work with students in a way they helps them discover their blockages and conquer their fears in learning. Once this happens, they begin to thrive again in the classroom and get the most out of their lessons in school.
