DR. CHRISTINE KING FARRIS BACK HOME!!!
At the age of 95, she slept peacefully this morning, God called her home.
Dr. Farris was born Willie Christine King on September 11, 1927. She was the older sister of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, and Rev. Alfred Daniel Williams King. Her lifelong impact married the concerns of civil rights. In a real sense, she was mother to us all.
"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, even so says the Spirit. For they rest from their labors and their deeds follow them into eternity."
