🚨To Apostle Elysée, my mother
Mummy,
💢I am taking the opportunity of your birthday to wish you continued health, longevity, and infinite blessings.
Many things are easier to say or preach than to live out;
by your side, I have learned what prophetic ministry truly is.
And prophets agree that "true prophets do not have an easy life."
⚠️Beyond the sweet moments and the sometimes glorious, spectacular outward appearances, there lies a life of perpetual sacrifice upon the altar.
A prophet's life is not a dream life; it is not a game. In a sense, it is a life of dying to self, for God commandeers you and disposes of you when, where, and how He pleases. Sometimes personal will vanishes, along with dreams and ambitions to allow His will to reign supreme.
A true prophet inevitably experiences:
👉Rejection: Rejection by distant or insignificant people never hurts as much as rejection by those closest to us, those we have carried, supported, encouraged, guided, and even raised up. Jesus Himself experienced this (Matthew 23:37 / Mark 6:4).
👉Solitude: After the miracles, after the excitement, after the crowds have left, no one knows what the prophet is going through, nor does anyone care. Elijah was even ready to leave this earth because the weight of solitude had overwhelmed him (1 Kings 19).
👉Misunderstanding: As I like to say, if we could fully understand God, He would no longer be God. We know only in part; let us also accept understanding only in part. Mystery is what allows God to remain beyond the grasp of our intellect. People generally fight against what they do not understand. But the fact that people do not understand does not mean God is not at work within it.
👉Ingratitude, forgetfulness, and even slander, Joseph, Jeremiah, Micah... so many examples in the Bible, not to mention various contemporaries...
✅️It has been two years since you left Gabon, your homeland, much like Abraham, yet your work lives on through the many lives you have impacted and through the leadership, apostolic, and prophetic training platforms you founded.
Your sons (the real ones) will continue to honor your work, your memory, and your God.
🎯Winter is merely a season; it comes and goes just as it arrived.
You told me so often: up on the heights, it is cold and one feels alone, yes, there are levels and dimensions where not everyone can stand...
♨️I pray that you persevere in this boundless, unwavering faith, for your God,your Daddy,is eternally faithful to you.
With honor and love.💝
Pastor Marlène, your daughter.
