I live in La Teste, in the Bay of Arcachon. I used to work as a trilingual sales assistant, then as a job placement and recruitment consultant.

https://tr.ee/httjWi Then, in 2021-2022, I retrained at Bordeaux Montaigne University, where I obtained a Teaching French as a Foreign Language diploma. At the same time, I started studying music theory and singing at the music conservatory of my town.

In 2022, I started teaching French as a Foreign Language on a voluntary basis. In 2023, I gave my first face-to-face lessons, as a self-employed entrepreneur and then as an employee in a training centre. Today, via my website practicalandmusicalfrench.com, I offer online to expats in France. It is about practical French, sung French and French with songs courses (levels A0 to B1). My courses have various aims: adapting to the French system, help one's children with their homework at French primary school, holding a conversation in French, singing French songs and more.

😢 Struggling to learn French?

For me, living in Spain hasn't always been sunshine and tapas… 🇪🇸

I loved my year in Spain overall, but this moment? Definitely one of my worst memories as an expat 😅 It reminded me just how difficult it can be to get by in a foreign language at the start of a stay abroad, when you don’t yet have any friends around you and you’re dealing with a health issue...
