"It is absolutely crazy that you can spend one week in the classroom learning about various paintings and artists who were influential in the development of art today and then spend the next week visiting these museums and experiencing the art right in front of your eyes."
-Stephen Kayser ‘19 shares his experiences as an art student in Paris.

"I went with Asbury to Paris in 2006. The city... and really France for that matter had not really been on my radar, but my friends talked me into joining the trip. I was a history major, and had always loved Europe, so it seemed like a great fit. But really the trip changed my life. After the trip, I came back to Paris twice before graduating from Asbury... and then I got an internship with a gallery / ministry here. The contacts that I made through Dr. Stratford, and the exposure I got in Paris have transformed my trajectory, and shaped my career. I have been based in Paris since 2008. The introduction to French culture and history that Asbury gave me, enabled me to thrive here. I am really grateful for my experience with the Asbury Paris program."

"The Paris Semester fully encapsulates the virtues of a liberal arts education. The academic standard is excellent but the true value of the semester, I believe, comes from its ability to facilitate personal growth. It was truly transformational for me as I gained a confidence I never expected and finally felt prepared and ready for life after college."
