Hans-Walter Müller is a german engineer. At the state of the art he created ethereal structures made of light, air or wind. His career of freedom was celebrated at the Paris Biennale in 1965 and he was the creator of the German Pavillion at Montreal Expo 67. His partners in crime were Jean Dubuffet, Salvador Dalí or Maurice Béjart. Wind has always played a central role in Versailles, a place he knows very well. From the love of Zephyr and Borée to the presentation of the first manned flying object: the hot air balloon in 1783 by the Montgolfiers, wind was an inspiration for art, science and manners. In 1999 France was hit, most unusually, by a hurricane, and the Estate suffered serious damage. But it proved over time to be a rare opportunity for Versailles. A massive replanting campaign was launched, and Versailles gardens gained back their juvenile state ; as Louis the XIV knew it. Together with you, coming from all over the world, we will create inflatable structure that will enlighten a juvenile sky on July 8 2022.
