Are you stuck at A2* or B1** level?
It takes time, repetition and regularity to get from one level to the next.

We’re setting up 2 new courses
Starting mid-Sep 2026
LT Objective B1 & LT Objective B2

Why?
We’re a human school and we understand our students want to learn, get better, become fluent. But there’s work, there’s family, there’s life.

So, here’s the offer: Commit to the school year | 1 lesson = 90min a week on Thursday mornings | Starting 17th September

Afraid you’ll miss a few sessions?
We’ve considered that and are thinking of ways to record the classes when someone is missing. We’ll also be working with a coursebook so there’ll be options to catch up.

Students have already signed up and we’re close to having enough participants to run both courses, but we need you to join and/or share the info around you!

We truly believe this is a great programme and that it will help our Learners-of-French community in the Valley.

*A2: You know quite a lot, but you can’t put it together smoothly or quickly enough to deal with everyday situations.
**B1: You can deal with everyday situations without too much stress, but you know you often use a lot of the same expressions and you’d like to be more precise. Maybe French citizenship is also on your mind…

We’re constantly evolving our courses to meet our students’ needs.
These courses are aimed at our local valley residents.
Those who work, have families, have a French objective but also other responsibilities.
Sign up for the full year, September 2026 to June 2027 for 90 minutes a week.
There’ll be no lessons during French school holidays because time with children is important, and we know childcare can also be tricky.
There’ll be no lessons in February because - well, it’s February!
Our courses can be financed via professional development grants (but don’t wait too long as the dossiers take time!)
Follow a structured course book while learning from a variety of teachers to get used to different accents, voices, and teaching styles.

Real progress takes time—moving up a full level is a long-term journey that can span 1 to 2 years. To help you get there, our groups are organised by target level.

Target: B1 — For current A2 students
Target: B2 — For current B1 students

Please note that progress depends on your starting level, attendance, and practice, so reaching the full target level may take more than one year.
