Did you know if you’re in France it’d be quite unlikely to hear the phrase “je ne sais pas” (I don’t know) pronounced as such?

As we usually speak fast, we tend to shorten the words, the phrases etc... So, “je ne sais pas” will be pronounced something like “sh-ay-pa” instead.

Same thing happens with “Je suis” (I am). We usually say something like “shwee”!

Aujourd’hui c’est la journée internationale des câlins! En effet, en cette période de pandémie de Covid-19 c’est la distanciation physique (social distancing) qui prime. Mais, c’est une bonne occasion pour apprendre/revoir quelques surnoms affectueux (pet names) qui sont assez... étranges (weird)!
