“Why didn’t anyone tell me this before?”
If you’ve ever moved to a new country, you probably know that feeling.
The feeling of spending hours searching for information.
The feeling of not knowing what to do first.
The feeling of having to ask for help for every little thing because you don’t yet understand how the system works.
And when you have children with you, everything feels even more urgent.
School.
Healthcare.
Paperwork.
Banking.
Transport.
Daily life.
Yes, clubs 🏉often help.
But not every club offers the same support, and wherever you arrive in France, many of the challenges are exactly the same.
That’s why I’m creating something I wish I would have had if my husband had moved our family abroad with our two boys. ☺️
❌Not a 300-page guide that you’ll never read.
✅A practical guide with the essentials.
The things you really need to know.
The priorities.
The key steps.
Who to contact.
What to do yourself.
What can wait.
And because information alone isn’t enough, you’ll also find useful French phrases to help you communicate in real-life situations and feel more confident from day one.
My goal isn’t to give you more information.
It’s to help you feel less lost, more prepared, and more independent in France. 🇫🇷
✨ The guide is coming soon.

Maybe you’ve been waiting for the « right time » to learn French.
The women who join Women Speak French don’t start because they’re confident.
They start because they’re tired of waiting.
Tired of depending on others.
Tired of feeling left out.
Tired of watching life happen around them.
And that’s when everything starts to change.

"I'll join when my French is better." 😅🇫🇷
It's something I hear often.
And I understand why.
Because moving to France is already a lot.
A new country.
A new club.
A new city.
New routines.
New people.
Sometimes a new identity too.
So learning French gets pushed to the bottom of the list.
Not because it doesn't matter.
But because everything else feels more urgent.
And then one day, you realise you're still waiting.
Waiting to understand more.
Waiting to feel included.
Waiting to feel like France is your home too.
The women who join Women Speak French aren't the women who feel ready.
They're simply women who decide they don't want to spend another season on the sidelines of their own life.
They want to understand.
To connect.
To belong.
To create friendships.
To build a life that feels like theirs, not just the life of the person they followed here.
And that's where everything starts to change.
Not because their French suddenly becomes perfect.
But because they stop waiting for permission to take their place. 🇫🇷
💬And you?
How did you handle that moment when you realised English wasn't enough anymore?
✨If any part of this resonates with you, I've created a free Starter Kit to help you get started.
Just a first step.
You'll find the link in my bio
Enjoy it ✨

When your husband is injured, there isn’t always time to translate every sentence.
You need to be able to pick up the phone.
You need to be able to call the clinic.
Explain what’s happened.
Leave a voicemail.
Understand the answer.
And that’s exactly why learning French for real situations matters 🇫🇷
This week, one of the Women Speak French women sent me this WhatsApp message. 🫶🏼
📞 She called a clinic.
🎙️ She left a voicemail.
🇫🇷 She handled the whole conversation in French.
✨ And the nurse told her that her French was very good.
I don’t know about you, but these messages make me ridiculously happy.
Because that’s what real progress looks like.
Not perfect French.
Real-life French.
The French you need when life happens.

Moving to France can feel exciting… but also incredibly lonely sometimes.
Especially when:
everyone around you speaks French
conversations move too fast
and you feel like you’re watching life happen instead of fully living it
And THIS is why learning French matters so much.
Not to become perfect.
Not to sound like a Parisian 😂
But to:
✨ feel independent
✨ connect with people
✨ build YOUR life here
✨ feel like yourself again in France
That’s why today I’m sharing this little Conversation KIT 🇫🇷✨
The same one I shared with the girls who joined our last events.
And I want you to know something:
You do NOT need perfect French to feel included in your life here 🫶🏼
If you’re ready to stop hiding behind “my French isn’t good enough”…
Send me “KIT” in DM and I’ll send you the free download link 💌🇫🇷
