CAN YOU FIND A WAY TO IMPROVE WASTE SORTING?
In our everyday life we produce a lot of waste that does not enter the recycling process, especially in public
spaces like parks, offices. Within a circular economy, designers are called upon to raise awareness on the value of waste, helping people to separate mixed materials objects for a correct disposal. The goal of this challenge is to develop and produce, with the help of digital fabrication, custom made simple artifacts that could be used to
separate specific objects or components from waste mixtures.||https://jobsofthefuture.eu/JOTF-Challenges/JOTF-DIGITAL-FABRICATION-Challenge.pdf

CAN YOU CREATE A VIRTUAL REALITY TOUR?
A virtual reality tour is any digital solution that lets you explore a location without visiting it in person. Unlike regular images of a video, VR productions capture every part of a location. In the travel industry virtual reality can be used to communicate about tourism destinations in a unique and immersive way. This is achieved by using specialized cameras, rigs and softwares. During this challenge your mission is to create a virtual reality tour from scratch.||https://jobsofthefuture.eu/JOTF-Challenges/JOTF-VR-Challenge.pdf

HOW DO YOU DESIGN PUBLIC PLAY GROUNDS FOR A DIVERSE RANGE OF USERS?
Children of all ages, abilities, gender, social category, cultural backgrounds, should have access to public playgrounds and be able to enjoy them. In many countries, public playgrounds aren’t yet designed in a way that they respond to the diverse needs of the users. Some of them have universal design elements, but the playground is rarely designed as a whole to be inclusive. The lack of accessibility of the playgrounds affects the development of children with disabilities, but also their parents/chaperone (temporarily ablebodied or with disabilities), by restricting their rights to using public facilities. You task consists in analyzing the situation of the playgrounds close to you and try to design an inclusive play equipment or an inclusive playground altogether.||https://jobsofthefuture.eu/JOTF-Challenges/JOTF-URBAN-PLANNING-Challenge.pdf
